Clement intensely looked at Madelyn’s delicate side profile as she focused on cutting the cake. Her stray strands of hair hanging around the ear made him want to tuck them. Her skin was also fair. She was a charming natural beauty.
Madelyn put down the knife. She then stood straight and happened to meet Clement’s eyes. She said with a smile, “I’m done cutting the cakes. You can start distributing them.
