The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning by Max Charming Chapter 1284

Fred said, “I’ll let you go back when it’s time for you to go back.”

A guard in uniform walked in from outside. “Mr. Turner, two people have been brought over and are now locked up in the prison. How should we handle them?”

Mya noticed Fred’s expression was stern, and she dared not speak. She drank the bitter medicine he fed her, which she had been taking for days. She frowned very tightly due to the bitterness. Fred then wiped away the medicine stain from her mouth. He replied to the guard, “Where did they come from?”

The guard responded, “They were brought over by the deputy warden.”

Fred said, “Lock them up for now and ignore them. Just let them suffocate.”

“Okay.”

Mya stuck her tongue out. “I don’t want to drink it anymore. I’m so sleepy. I want to sleep now.”

Fred looked at the spoon and realized Mya had already finished drinking the medicine. A servant took the spoon and covered her with a blanket. He said, ” Rest well if you’re sleepy.”

Mya closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep.

Fred stood up, turned around, and left. The servants in the room followed him, closing the door behind them as they left.

He asked in a deep voice, “Did you check? Is she pregnant?”

A servant immediately responded, “Ms. Harper won’t get pregnant. While you were away, we followed your instructions and made all the necessary arrangements for her. She undergoes a medical examination every three months. So, if she were pregnant, it wouldn’t go undetected.”

While the servant was talking, she kept her head bowed the entire time, afraid to meet Fred’s gaze.

He did not notice the servant’s unusual expression. What she said did not concern him either.

Little did Fred know, Mya had already been pregnant for some time. She was originally plump, so her growing belly was not noticeable to him.

However, it would not be too long before Mya’s pregnancy became visible. If Fred were too forceful when he made love to her, it would hurt the child in her belly. And if she started bleeding, the servants would no longer be able to keep this pregnancy from Fred. They would surely suffer.

Only two servants stayed behind to guard outside Mya’s room. Shortly after Fred left, a woman with a slim waist suddenly appeared. She was dressed in a thin gauze dress, which completely revealed the sexy, lacey lingerie underneath, creating an alluring and suggestive sight.

The woman seemed harmless. Her flawless skin was fair, and she looked gorgeous.

The servants respectfully greeted the beautiful lady in front of them, “Ms. Windham.”

Ava Windham asked, “Where’s Fred?”

One of the servants responded, “Mr. Turner just left. Ms. Windham, your body is still weak as you haven’t recovered from the cold. You should rest in your room.”

Ava was one of Fred’s many partners. She had been with him the longest. She had previously been recuperating in a hospital overseas and had only returned recently.

She then went to Fred’s office. Once he saw her, he hugged her delicate waist and heard her say, “Fred, when did you come back? Why didn’t you come to see me when you’re back?”

Fred caressed Ava’s slender, fair legs as he smelled the fragrance from her body. Every strand of her hair carried the scent. Her silky, beautiful black hair draped over him. He continued to touch her legs and then held her round toes with his rough palm. He responded, ” Don’t wear such revealing clothes in the future.”

Ava leaned against Fred. “You said you liked me dressed like this.”

Her breath was sensually enticing, and Fred could not resist her teasing. He moved her to face him and effortlessly tore apart her dress. He then removed her underwear and started making love to her.

The cold office was suddenly filled with their heavy breathing, and the atmosphere gradually became passionate.

Their lovemaking sounds, which were a mix of pleasure and seductiveness, continued for a long time.

When the exhausted Ava was carried back to the villa, they remained entwined, unwilling to part.

Madelyn Jent died on her wedding anniversary. She had been married to Zach Jardin for eight years, compromising for the better part of her life. However, she ended up being kicked out of the house. After the painful divorce, Madelyn was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Despite her deteriorating health, she clung to life in the hospital, hoping that Zach would visit her one last time. As Valentine's Day arrived, heavy snow fell outside. Yet, Zach failed to make an appearance, leaving Madelyn with a deep sense of regret. "Zach Jardin... If I could start over, I would never fall in love with you again!"

Miraculously, Madelyn found herself reborn to the time when she was eighteen. Fueled by the desire to avoid repeating the same mistakes, she made a solemn vow to distance herself from everything related to Zach. But fate seemed determined to test her resolve. Just as she sought to escape the shadows of her past, the same man, Zach, emerged with an intimidating aura, gradually approaching her step by step. His voice, reminiscent of a devil's melody, echoed through the hallway as he declared, "Madelyn, I'll take care of you for the rest of your life..."

Chapter 1 On February 14th, Valentine's Day, Madelyn Jent, a 31-year-old woman, lost her battle to cancer. Inside a room in SereneCare Hospital in Ventropolis, the air was filled with a strong scent of disinfectant. [Zach, the doctor inserted a painful dialysis needle in me today.] [I'm on the verge of death. Could you spare a moment to visit me?] [Please, Zach...] Madelyn weakly turned her head and glanced at the text messages on her phone. Despite sending multiple messages, she had received no response from Zach. IV drips were connected to her veins. Her face was pale, her eyes sunken, and her body emaciated. Cancer had ravaged her limbs, causing them to deteriorate. She was completely immobile, unable to perform even the simplest tasks unaided. The nurse assigned to care for her hadn't shown up for almost two weeks, citing that further treatment was unnecessary. Madelyn was sensitive to the pain, but in the advanced stage of her cancer, she had to suffer with it every day. The only thing that kept her going was her love for Zach. But now, her once overwhelming love for him had faded. She was left with nothing but a frail and ailing body. Madelyn switched off her phone and silently awaited the embrace of death. The pain had nearly blurred her consciousness. She reminisced about the eight years she had devoted to being Zach's faithful wife. But what had she gained in the end? One by one, those around her had abandoned her, leaving her alone and destitute. Madelyn couldn't help but think that Zach would perhaps feel the greatest relief upon her demise. With her gone, he no longer subjected to the sight of her face. He could finally satisfy his longing to bring Cecilia Samford home as his wife. Eight months ago, on Zach's birthday, Madelyn sat on the couch, anxiously waiting for his return. It was well past two o'clock in the morning, and the carefully prepared meal on the table had grown cold. Instead of Zach, it was his assistant who arrived, bearing a divorce agreement. The assistant delivered the news hesitantly, saying, "Madam, Mr. Jardin had no choice. The Jardin Corporation is a vast enterprise that requires an heir." Madelyn forced a pale smile. A few years ago, she had been pregnant, but an accident had tragically led to a stillborn child. Since then, she hadn't been able to conceive.
