An Understated Dominance Chapter 1971 by Marina Vittori

Instead of making a move, Grace chose to understand the situation first. ” Captain Wilder, can you tell who are the two groups of people there?”

“Based on their outfits, the team that has more people looks like they’re from Fantasy Sea Alliance.” Garrett soon found out after taking a closer look.

“Fantasy Sea Alliance? Who are they?” Grace continued asking. Narrowing his eyes, Garrett explained, “The three major sects in the Southwest are Drakes Dominion Order, Embersteel Order, and Frostwing Sect.

“Under these major sects, there are six influential sects, and Fantasy Sea Alliance is one of them.

“However, Fantasy Sea Alliance is different from normal sects. The way they do things is extreme. Thus, they don’t have a good reputation. They have all sorts of members inside too.”

Jackson couldn’t help but sneer upon hearing that, “To put it simply, Fantasy Sea Alliance is formed by a bunch of immoral martial artists.

“They try to make themselves righteous, but they secretly like to engage in robbing and looting. They’re a bunch of scoundrels in the martial world!”

Grace nodded before questioning, “So, that’s the case. Who’s the person being surrounded, then?”

“They don’t have any noticeable logos on their clothes. I can’t tell who they are.” Garrett shook his head.

Most disciples would wear similar uniforms when they were out. This would make them easily recognizable when they were making a name for themselves.

“Wait for a moment. Jackson, don’t you think they look familiar? The woman in red is Harmony Sect’s Ms. Jaden!” Suddenly, an Embersteel Order’s disciple exclaimed.

“Harmony Sect?” Jackson raised his eyebrows. After going forward to take a look, he yelped, “It really is Sophia!”

“Jackson, is one of them your friend?” Grace tried asking.

“They’re more than friends. Harmony Sect’s Ms. Jaden is Jackson’s fiancée!” The disciple’s words were shocking.

“Fiancée?” Everyone exchanged glances when they heard that. It was indeed an extraordinary fate for them to meet at such a weird place.

“Everyone, I’m sorry, but I need to save them today!” After confirming her identity, Jackson drew his sword without a word.

Then, he pointed to the front. ” Embersteel Order’s disciples, follow me!”

After saying that, Jackson charged forward. He couldn’t just sit by and watch when his fiancée was in danger.

“Get them!” Embersteel Order’s disciples didn’t hesitate when they saw Jackson charging forward. They immediately drew their swords and joined the battle.

The Fantasy Sea Alliance had a terrible reputation. As righteous individuals, the Embersteel Order had been long fed up with their actions.

Now, the Fantasy Sea Alliance was even bullying Jackson’s fiancée. It seemed that the former wanted to stir up a hornet’s nest!

“Ms. Nicholson, the Embersteel Order has a good relationship with the Harmony Sect. Thus, they would often have intermarriage between the two sects.

“Jackson’s fiancée is the Harmony Sect’s senior member, Sophia Jaden,” Garrett explained straightforwardly.

Grace nodded. Then, she gestured and ordered, “Understood. Team one and two, go and support them.”

“Yes!” The two envoy teams immediately withdrew their sword after getting the order. Then, they started to confront the enemy together with the Embersteel Order’s disciples.

The sudden arrival of reinforcements caught the Fantasy Sea Alliance off guard. They didn’t expect someone to jump in on them when they were almost going to win.

“Who are you? How dare you bastards poke your nose into our affairs! Are you guys not afraid of death?” a skinny middle-aged man yelled, standing among the group of Fantasy Sea Alliance members.

“I can’t stand by and watch people like you outnumbering the weak! Get lost now if you’re smart enough. Otherwise, I won’t go easy on you!” Jackson yelled.

“How dare you! Do you guys know who are? We’re from Fantasy Sea Alliance!” the middle-aged man shouted.

“Who cares? Do you think the Embersteel Order is afraid of you?” Jackson yelled angrily.

“What? You’re from Embersteel Steel?” The middle-aged man narrowed his eyes, and his expression turned serious.

Embersteel Steel was one of the three major sects in the Southwest. They were way more powerful than Fantasy Sea Alliance.

If it were back then, Fantasy Sea Alliance naturally didn’t want to provoke the Embersteel Order.

However, things were different now. There was no way they would willingly hand over the treasure they found.

“Elder Lucius, they seem to be Embersteel Order’s disciples based on the logos on their shirts,” a Fantasy Sea Alliance member muttered.

“Since you know our reputation, you should retreat quickly!” Jackson yelled.

Fantasy Sea Alliance had more people on their side. If they engaged in a fight, Emberson Steel might be at a disadvantage.

Therefore, it would be best if Jackson could just scare them away.

“Fantasy Sea Alliance and Embersteel Order have always minded our own business. Why do you have to meddle in this matter and become enemies with us?” the middle-aged man asked lowly.

“You were attacking Harmony Sect’s disciples just now. Harmony Sect are close allies of us! If you want to deal with them, you have to fight with us too!” Jackson stood firmly, exuding a powerful aura.

“Okay! I can spare their lives considering that you guys are from Emberson Steel. However…”

The middle-aged man suddenly demanded, “They have to return all of the treasures that they stole from us just now!”

Upon hearing that, A woman in red yelled, “Nonsense! Those were treasures that Harmony Sect found! Fantasy Sea Alliance was the shameless one trying to snatch what was ours!”

That was Harmony Sect’s most important disciple, Sophia. She was also Jackson’s fiancée.

“Stop fucking talking! You only have two choices. Give us the treasure, or we’ll chop you guys up!” a member of the Fantasy Sea Alliance yelled impatiently.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
