The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning by Max Charming Chapter 884

“Would you like me to bring it up for you?” asked the maid.

Madelyn was cradling the freshly bathed Dalton and paid no mind to the maid. They prepared to catch a few winks as Dalton was already drowsy. They snuggled into bed, hands positioned in their usual comforting spot, and soon slipped into a peaceful slumber.

Meanwhile, at the Sovereign Luxe Resort & Spa, Fred looked the woman ardently at work between his legs. Cecilia wiped the corner of her mouth, looked up at him with seductive eyes, and asked, “You seem off today. Already had a fling outside, haven’t you?”

Thirty minutes later, Cecilia’s doing was no fruition. Her lips tingled from exhaustion. Fred lifted Cecilia’s chin, his eyes lingering on her inviting lips. He said, ” Ten more minutes. If you still can’t satisfy me, I’ll have my men teach you how to please a man.”

Cecilia’s face soured for a split second, but she quickly regained composure. She knew Fred well enough to take his words seriously. Fred had a penchant for married women. No woman he set his sights on ever escaped his clutches, and he had a myriad of ways to make them submit.

Climbing onto Fred’s lap, Cecilia didn’t stop what she was doing. She leaned in, her warm breath brushing over his ear as her tongue teased sensitive spots. She whispered, “Picture me as Mrs. Jardin.”-

Cecilia gripped Fred’s hand and placed it on her softest spot. She continued, Everywhere you’ve touched, he has too. Our first night-in the kitchen, the bedroom, the balcony-we’ve left marks all over.”

Then, Cecilia felt a noticeable reaction from Fred and pressed on, fueling his desire with each provocative word, knowing full well this kink of his had not changed. He scooped her up and did her roughly. He growled, “Keep talking.”

Cecilia’s voice fractured with moans, she said, “Next time, I have another surprise for you.”

Every time Fred visited, Cecilia offered him a new surprise. She had a knack for understanding all of his preferences. Slowly but surely, she was becoming irresistible to him. She added, “If you’re so enamored with his woman, why not just take Madelyn for yourself? Wouldn’t it be more exciting if both of you played with the same woman?”

“Ah!” Cecilia suddenly let out a piercing cry. “We could all be together -four of us!”

Minutes later, Cecilia felt utterly exhausted. She collapsed on the bed and panting heavily. But even in her tired state, she found herself being guided off the bed to stand by the floor- to-ceiling window. Fred remained meticulously dressed while Cecilia had no clothes on her.

Cecilia realized that no matter how much effort she put into the task at hand, words of encouragement had a far more significant impact.

“Zach Jardin, you sure know how to pick women!” Fred exclaimed with a loud moan. It was an endless marathon of determination, with no clear end in sight.

Two hours later, Cecilia lay on the floor, her body twitching involuntarily, drool leaking from the corner of her mouth, her face flush with satisfaction.

Meanwhile, Mya sneaked out of her home and hopped on a bus all by herself, headed for the hospital. The warm afternoon sunshine had disappeared, and a cold breeze surrounded her. She huddled in her seat. Lost in thought, she missed her stop.

Finding herself in an unfamiliar area, Mya looked at the busy streets and big shopping places. She figured out she ended up in a pretty neighborhood. All she could do was go back, turn around, and take another bus to the hospital.

Madelyn Jent died on her wedding anniversary. She had been married to Zach Jardin for eight years, compromising for the better part of her life. However, she ended up being kicked out of the house. After the painful divorce, Madelyn was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Despite her deteriorating health, she clung to life in the hospital, hoping that Zach would visit her one last time. As Valentine's Day arrived, heavy snow fell outside. Yet, Zach failed to make an appearance, leaving Madelyn with a deep sense of regret. "Zach Jardin... If I could start over, I would never fall in love with you again!"

Miraculously, Madelyn found herself reborn to the time when she was eighteen. Fueled by the desire to avoid repeating the same mistakes, she made a solemn vow to distance herself from everything related to Zach. But fate seemed determined to test her resolve. Just as she sought to escape the shadows of her past, the same man, Zach, emerged with an intimidating aura, gradually approaching her step by step. His voice, reminiscent of a devil's melody, echoed through the hallway as he declared, "Madelyn, I'll take care of you for the rest of your life..."

Chapter 1 On February 14th, Valentine's Day, Madelyn Jent, a 31-year-old woman, lost her battle to cancer. Inside a room in SereneCare Hospital in Ventropolis, the air was filled with a strong scent of disinfectant. [Zach, the doctor inserted a painful dialysis needle in me today.] [I'm on the verge of death. Could you spare a moment to visit me?] [Please, Zach...] Madelyn weakly turned her head and glanced at the text messages on her phone. Despite sending multiple messages, she had received no response from Zach. IV drips were connected to her veins. Her face was pale, her eyes sunken, and her body emaciated. Cancer had ravaged her limbs, causing them to deteriorate. She was completely immobile, unable to perform even the simplest tasks unaided. The nurse assigned to care for her hadn't shown up for almost two weeks, citing that further treatment was unnecessary. Madelyn was sensitive to the pain, but in the advanced stage of her cancer, she had to suffer with it every day. The only thing that kept her going was her love for Zach. But now, her once overwhelming love for him had faded. She was left with nothing but a frail and ailing body. Madelyn switched off her phone and silently awaited the embrace of death. The pain had nearly blurred her consciousness. She reminisced about the eight years she had devoted to being Zach's faithful wife. But what had she gained in the end? One by one, those around her had abandoned her, leaving her alone and destitute. Madelyn couldn't help but think that Zach would perhaps feel the greatest relief upon her demise. With her gone, he no longer subjected to the sight of her face. He could finally satisfy his longing to bring Cecilia Samford home as his wife. Eight months ago, on Zach's birthday, Madelyn sat on the couch, anxiously waiting for his return. It was well past two o'clock in the morning, and the carefully prepared meal on the table had grown cold. Instead of Zach, it was his assistant who arrived, bearing a divorce agreement. The assistant delivered the news hesitantly, saying, "Madam, Mr. Jardin had no choice. The Jardin Corporation is a vast enterprise that requires an heir." Madelyn forced a pale smile. A few years ago, she had been pregnant, but an accident had tragically led to a stillborn child. Since then, she hadn't been able to conceive.
