The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning Chapter 817 by Max Charming

The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning by Max Charming Chapter 817

In Ventropolis Prison, inside a dimly lit prison cell with no light coming from outside, Cecilia woke up in ragged clothes. Her feet were shackled with iron chains, and silver handcuffs restrained her hands.

Fred Turner, who was wearing a black uniform, buttoned his collar button. The scar at the corner of his eye looked hideous under the dim light. He said, You’ve been following him for so long. I never expected you to be a virgin.

“The few of you take her for a wash. Don’t let her die.”

“Yes, Mr. Turner.”

“You bastard.” In anger, Cecilia suddenly got up. Before she could even get close to Fred, her leg was hit by a baton. Cecilia screamed painfully and lay on the ground in agony.

Fred, with his hat on, walked over to her and looked down at her, “No one has dared lay a hand on me on my turf. You’re the first.”

Cecilia responded, “I’m your boss’s woman. You’re just his dog. If Zach finds out about this, he won’t spare you.

Fred had slept with many women, and most of them were prostitutes. He had even slept with the high-and-mighty lady from the Young family. But Cecilia is the first virgin he had been with. He had been relatively gentle with her compared to the rough treatment he gave to other women in bed.

He said, “If you dare speak to me like that again, I’ll sew your mouth shut with my own hands.”

Cecilia remained silent.

He continued, “Since it was your first time, you’ll be mine from now on. There’s nothing but desolation within tens of miles from here. Don’t even think about escaping. If you behave well, I can let you go out and have some fun.”

After Fred left, other prison guards dragged Cecilia to a different place.

There was a large bath there surrounded by black tiles. The environment was much better than where she had been just now.

On the way here, Cecilia was molested by these men who had not been with any women for a long time. She stood in the bath to clean the dirty parts of her body. She was lost in her thoughts,” I didn’t expect to accidentally have relations with Fred.

‘That despicable man had been rough and never treated me gently. I had several bruises caused by him.’

The last time at Supreme World, after Zach was taken away, she had accidentally consumed a strong aphrodisiac. She was confused, and her sexual desires greatly impaired her ability to think clearly. She wanted to just find any man to serve as her antidote but had stumbled upon Fred.

After he forced himself on her in a safe passage, he imprisoned her in the pitch -black prison. That was where he had his way with her all day.

Cecilia had come close to death because of his act. She was not actually a virgin. Her first time had been given to a loan shark as a form of payment by her heartless father.

Later, to preserve her reputation, she secretly worked and saved money to undergo hymen repair surgery. Only she knew about this.

Fred was in his office, answering a phone call, “Your woman did taste quite good. Next time, send me more good ones to play with.”

“Don’t play her to death. She’s still useful to me.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll go easy on your people.”

After a brief conversation, the call ended. After he put down the phone, his longtime assistant asked, “Why do you still listen to his orders? It’s been so many years, and you’ve already paid your debt to him. With your current position, we don’t have to fear him.”

Fred responded, “Because we’ve faced death together. He not only saved my life, but we’re also the same kind of people.

“It’s been more than a decade. Even if we become enemies, he’s the only one I consider a worthy opponent.”

Fred felt they were more like perfect partners. They both had equally great ambitions. Zach was good at strategic planning and manipulation. He would never kill someone with his own hands. He was best at using others to carry out the deeds for him. He was extremely careful.

But Fred was different. He preferred to do it with his own hands. He even liked using a knife. When dealing with the people Zach wanted to deal with, Fred would not let them live. He would also never leave any traces.

If Zach wanted someone to be killed, Fred would be his best choice to perform the act. And Fred was more than willing to do that for his partner.

Fred’s assistant said, “But we can’t just keep cleaning up his mess for him every time. When the Burton family died in prison, our affairs almost got exposed.”

Fred was wiping his gun when he heard that, and a hint of cold light flashed past his emotionless, sharp eyes.

In the next moment, a loud sound could be heard. The person who was standing in front of him suddenly fell to the ground. Smoke was still coming out of the gun muzzle.

The guards outside seemed like they were used to this. They just calmly dragged the person out of the room.

An hour later, Cecilia, who was now clean and dressed in a fresh set of clothes, was brought to Fred. She wore a black spaghetti-strapped dress. The prison was filled with cold air. Cecilia was trembling due to the cold. Her wrists and ankles were still in shackles.

Fred was wearing boots and crossed his legs. The scar near his eye made him look like a ferocious demon. When he saw the sexy Cecilia approaching, he put his leg down and parted them, ” Come over here and kneel down…”

Upon seeing the gun that he put on the table, Cecilia went around the side and rushed over. Before she could pick it up, Fred grabbed her hair and pulled it forcefully.

It was so painful that Cecilia kneeled in front of him. The bruise on her face had not yet faded. Fred’s menacing voice could be heard, “Should I break your hands or your legs? Or should I sever the nerves in your hands and feet?”

Madelyn Jent died on her wedding anniversary. She had been married to Zach Jardin for eight years, compromising for the better part of her life. However, she ended up being kicked out of the house. After the painful divorce, Madelyn was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Despite her deteriorating health, she clung to life in the hospital, hoping that Zach would visit her one last time. As Valentine's Day arrived, heavy snow fell outside. Yet, Zach failed to make an appearance, leaving Madelyn with a deep sense of regret. "Zach Jardin... If I could start over, I would never fall in love with you again!"

Miraculously, Madelyn found herself reborn to the time when she was eighteen. Fueled by the desire to avoid repeating the same mistakes, she made a solemn vow to distance herself from everything related to Zach. But fate seemed determined to test her resolve. Just as she sought to escape the shadows of her past, the same man, Zach, emerged with an intimidating aura, gradually approaching her step by step. His voice, reminiscent of a devil's melody, echoed through the hallway as he declared, "Madelyn, I'll take care of you for the rest of your life..."

Chapter 1 On February 14th, Valentine's Day, Madelyn Jent, a 31-year-old woman, lost her battle to cancer. Inside a room in SereneCare Hospital in Ventropolis, the air was filled with a strong scent of disinfectant. [Zach, the doctor inserted a painful dialysis needle in me today.] [I'm on the verge of death. Could you spare a moment to visit me?] [Please, Zach...] Madelyn weakly turned her head and glanced at the text messages on her phone. Despite sending multiple messages, she had received no response from Zach. IV drips were connected to her veins. Her face was pale, her eyes sunken, and her body emaciated. Cancer had ravaged her limbs, causing them to deteriorate. She was completely immobile, unable to perform even the simplest tasks unaided. The nurse assigned to care for her hadn't shown up for almost two weeks, citing that further treatment was unnecessary. Madelyn was sensitive to the pain, but in the advanced stage of her cancer, she had to suffer with it every day. The only thing that kept her going was her love for Zach. But now, her once overwhelming love for him had faded. She was left with nothing but a frail and ailing body. Madelyn switched off her phone and silently awaited the embrace of death. The pain had nearly blurred her consciousness. She reminisced about the eight years she had devoted to being Zach's faithful wife. But what had she gained in the end? One by one, those around her had abandoned her, leaving her alone and destitute. Madelyn couldn't help but think that Zach would perhaps feel the greatest relief upon her demise. With her gone, he no longer subjected to the sight of her face. He could finally satisfy his longing to bring Cecilia Samford home as his wife. Eight months ago, on Zach's birthday, Madelyn sat on the couch, anxiously waiting for his return. It was well past two o'clock in the morning, and the carefully prepared meal on the table had grown cold. Instead of Zach, it was his assistant who arrived, bearing a divorce agreement. The assistant delivered the news hesitantly, saying, "Madam, Mr. Jardin had no choice. The Jardin Corporation is a vast enterprise that requires an heir." Madelyn forced a pale smile. A few years ago, she had been pregnant, but an accident had tragically led to a stillborn child. Since then, she hadn't been able to conceive.
