Madelyn passed out for a long time, but she could hear someone talking next to her. She knew it was Zach. Even with her eyes closed, she could hear him speaking. Zach repeatedly wiped her body with warm water, groomed her hair, and changed her into clean clothes.
Kai entered the room and saw Zach, who had gone mad, and said hesitantly, “I’ve already told you the surgical risk. The surgery can be done one week after she wakes up, so you’d better be prepared for it.”

There were still bruises on Kai’s face as they had fought not long ago. Kai looked at him emotionlessly, “What about you? What’s the point of you living if she’s dead? Don’t forget, you’re the one who drugged her, and everything was your idea. Are you regretting it now?
“It has been six years, and you had countless chances to make things right. Have you done anything for it?
“Zach Jardin, if she dies, you’re the person who caused it! You don’t deserve to continue living either if she’s dead. You didn’t hesitate to hurt her back then. Who are you putting a show on for now?
