The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning by Max Charming Chapter 637

The elevator doors slid open, and Zach stepped out, tugging Madelyn along toward the emergency stairs. The lights in the stairwell blinked as they sensed the two of them. He quickly pushed her against the wall.

Panting slightly, he leaned in so close to hers that their noses were almost touching. “How about we do it here?”

The dim yellow light accentuated Zach’s chisel face. Madelyn’s heart raced, filled with anxiety and a touch of fear. His eyes looked softer than usual. She tried to hold back her anger. “Zach, don’t do anything stupid. Someone could see us.”.

Zach lightly touched his lips to hers.” Just one, okay?”

Madelyn glanced at the staircase, her chest trembling. “You promised not to force me,” she said, her voice shaky and on the verge of tears.

Zach leaned over her ear, exhaling warm breath on her neck. A tingling sensation shot through her entire body. He leaned against the wall with his other hand, and a sense of flirtation filled the place immediately. Madelyn thought to herself, ‘Has he gone crazy?’

Today, Madelyn wore a dress. Since moving in with him, her wardrobe seemed to be filled with dresses. They were modest, reaching her calves, offering a balance between style and discretion. Yet, she couldn’t shake the feeling that they were there for his unsavory intentions.

Zach was strong. No matter how hard Madelyn pushed, she could not budge him. Her hands pressed against his chest, feeling the warmth of his skin. His body temperature was rising, and the fire in his eyes showed no signs of fading.

“I’ll just be rubbing outside and won’t put it in.” “No! Ahh!” Madelyn had not reacted yet when she found herself lifted off the ground.

The two of them faced each other, with Madelyn’s legs wrapped around his waist and her dress riding up. Terrified of falling, she instinctively hooked her arms around his neck. To her disbelief, he started to walk while maintaining the same position.

“You jerk! What are you doing? Put me down!” They were still close to the elevator, so Madelyn spoke softly and restrained her voice.

Zach cupped her hips, feeling somewhere that was soft and rubbing against it. Madelyn straightened up, her face showing a moment of embarrassment and anger. If looks could kill, Madelyn would have slain Zach countless times with her gaze.

Madelyn’s voice quivered, “I’m already worn out. Please, don’t.”

Zach smirked, “You’re quite the tease. Don’t you feel it too? Trust your feelings, Madelyn. I promise, I’ll be gentler this time.”

“I’ve already said I don’t want to. Can’t you understand?” Madelyn grabbed his hair. “I-I’ll pull your hair if you don’t let go.”

Zach was captivated by her chest. He took a breath and slipped his fingers further. While he was at it, he did not stop walking. His movement stimulated all her sensitive spots.

The next moment, Madelyn heard the sound of his zipper. Her legs straightened abruptly, and her eyes widened. “Zach!” She called his name angrily. However, her voice was nothing more than a fierce little kitten to him. Instead, it made him more excited. He said, “Let’s see how long you can hold out in this position.”

Madelyn remained tense all over, preventing herself from falling. This position had started off fine, but her entire waist and back were sore. She could not hold on much longer. If she let her guard down, his shaft would thrust into her core. In her previous life, Madelyn had always thought he was decent, but who would have known…

“If you can hold out until we return to the room, tonight.” I’ll let you off the hook “I don’t want to play this game with you. Just let me go.” Madelyn wished she could bite him to death.

Zach was muscular, and you could easily see the movement of his muscles under his suit sleeves. The sound of his leather shoes echoed on the stairs. To Madelyn, it felt like they had been climbing forever, but it was only two floors. ‘My waist is going to hurt after this,’ she thought.

Madelyn Jent died on her wedding anniversary. She had been married to Zach Jardin for eight years, compromising for the better part of her life. However, she ended up being kicked out of the house. After the painful divorce, Madelyn was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Despite her deteriorating health, she clung to life in the hospital, hoping that Zach would visit her one last time. As Valentine's Day arrived, heavy snow fell outside. Yet, Zach failed to make an appearance, leaving Madelyn with a deep sense of regret. "Zach Jardin... If I could start over, I would never fall in love with you again!"

Miraculously, Madelyn found herself reborn to the time when she was eighteen. Fueled by the desire to avoid repeating the same mistakes, she made a solemn vow to distance herself from everything related to Zach. But fate seemed determined to test her resolve. Just as she sought to escape the shadows of her past, the same man, Zach, emerged with an intimidating aura, gradually approaching her step by step. His voice, reminiscent of a devil's melody, echoed through the hallway as he declared, "Madelyn, I'll take care of you for the rest of your life..."

Chapter 1 On February 14th, Valentine's Day, Madelyn Jent, a 31-year-old woman, lost her battle to cancer. Inside a room in SereneCare Hospital in Ventropolis, the air was filled with a strong scent of disinfectant. [Zach, the doctor inserted a painful dialysis needle in me today.] [I'm on the verge of death. Could you spare a moment to visit me?] [Please, Zach...] Madelyn weakly turned her head and glanced at the text messages on her phone. Despite sending multiple messages, she had received no response from Zach. IV drips were connected to her veins. Her face was pale, her eyes sunken, and her body emaciated. Cancer had ravaged her limbs, causing them to deteriorate. She was completely immobile, unable to perform even the simplest tasks unaided. The nurse assigned to care for her hadn't shown up for almost two weeks, citing that further treatment was unnecessary. Madelyn was sensitive to the pain, but in the advanced stage of her cancer, she had to suffer with it every day. The only thing that kept her going was her love for Zach. But now, her once overwhelming love for him had faded. She was left with nothing but a frail and ailing body. Madelyn switched off her phone and silently awaited the embrace of death. The pain had nearly blurred her consciousness. She reminisced about the eight years she had devoted to being Zach's faithful wife. But what had she gained in the end? One by one, those around her had abandoned her, leaving her alone and destitute. Madelyn couldn't help but think that Zach would perhaps feel the greatest relief upon her demise. With her gone, he no longer subjected to the sight of her face. He could finally satisfy his longing to bring Cecilia Samford home as his wife. Eight months ago, on Zach's birthday, Madelyn sat on the couch, anxiously waiting for his return. It was well past two o'clock in the morning, and the carefully prepared meal on the table had grown cold. Instead of Zach, it was his assistant who arrived, bearing a divorce agreement. The assistant delivered the news hesitantly, saying, "Madam, Mr. Jardin had no choice. The Jardin Corporation is a vast enterprise that requires an heir." Madelyn forced a pale smile. A few years ago, she had been pregnant, but an accident had tragically led to a stillborn child. Since then, she hadn't been able to conceive.
