The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning Chapter 1289 by Max Charming

The two servants, relieved, exchanged glances.

Both of them had known about Mya’s pregnancy for a long time. They were not loyal to Fred; rather, they were sent by the Turner family to monitor him. When the news of Mya being pregnant was reported to Fred’s father, Frank Turner, he gave the order to ensure the safety of the child in Mya’s womb. This child was the Turner family’s first grandchild, and Frank did not want any accidents to happen.

But if Fred found out about this, he would not keep the child.

Fortunately, Mya’s child was just over three months old and was stable. Fred was busy with his affairs; when he was not at the villa, the two servants would secretly give Mya injections that prevented miscarriage.

The two servants then contacted the best brain experts from Roshya. The next day, they packed up all the luggage, ensuring that everything was brought with them, and accompanied Mya to undergo treatment abroad.

It was in the early hours when the helicopter landed at the villa. Mya was holding a doll in her hand, looking sleepy as she asked, “Nancy, Macey, where are we going?”

Nancy replied, “Ms. Harper, Mr. Turner has arranged for you to go to a very fun place. We’re going there now.”

Mya still did not know that she was about to be sent away. She happily responded, “Really? Where are we going? Is that bad guy coming with us?”

Macey answered, “Mr. Turner will join later. He’ll come after everything is settled there.”

Mya looked back at the stairs. She did not feel too disappointed when she did not see Fred there. She thought, ‘Fred is very busy with his affairs. He’s always not in the villa.’

She then said, “All right, but I can only stay there for a few days! That’s because Blake is getting married. As her cousin, I must attend her wedding.”

Both Nancy and Macey pursed their lips as they looked at each other. They nodded reluctantly. “Okay.”

After Mya boarded the helicopter, it slowly ascended.

In the room with the floor-to-ceiling windows upstairs, Fred was wrapped in a bathrobe. There were marks of intimacy all over his body. Ava’s delicate body pressed tightly against him. “Fred, if you can’t bear to part with her, why send her away?

“Judging by her reaction, she seems to be clueless about what’s happening.”

Fred took a puff of a cigarette as he pinched Ava’s cheeks. He then blew the smoke into her mouth, causing her to cough a few times. Then, Ava smiled as she wrapped her hands around his neck. Her naked body, still dripping with water from just having bathed, was extremely fair. Fred spent two million Avalon Dollars to buy the beautiful Ava at an underground auction.

He was captivated by her as soon as he saw her.

After the helicopter departed, Ava intentionally positioned Fred’s back in front of the floor-to-ceiling window and kissed him. His tall figure blocked Ava’s body, leaving only her fair arms exposed.

Mya saw them. Instead of looking away, her eyes widened with curiosity as she watched them.

Nancy and Macey reached out and covered Mya’s eyes. One of them said, ” Ms. Harper, you shouldn’t watch this kind of scene.”

However, she happily waved at Fred and Ava. “Bad guy, I finally won’t have to see you anymore.”

Nancy and Macey thought, ‘She’s indeed not bothered at all.’

Madelyn Jent died on her wedding anniversary. She had been married to Zach Jardin for eight years, compromising for the better part of her life. However, she ended up being kicked out of the house. After the painful divorce, Madelyn was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Despite her deteriorating health, she clung to life in the hospital, hoping that Zach would visit her one last time. As Valentine's Day arrived, heavy snow fell outside. Yet, Zach failed to make an appearance, leaving Madelyn with a deep sense of regret. "Zach Jardin... If I could start over, I would never fall in love with you again!"

Miraculously, Madelyn found herself reborn to the time when she was eighteen. Fueled by the desire to avoid repeating the same mistakes, she made a solemn vow to distance herself from everything related to Zach. But fate seemed determined to test her resolve. Just as she sought to escape the shadows of her past, the same man, Zach, emerged with an intimidating aura, gradually approaching her step by step. His voice, reminiscent of a devil's melody, echoed through the hallway as he declared, "Madelyn, I'll take care of you for the rest of your life..."

Chapter 1 On February 14th, Valentine's Day, Madelyn Jent, a 31-year-old woman, lost her battle to cancer. Inside a room in SereneCare Hospital in Ventropolis, the air was filled with a strong scent of disinfectant. [Zach, the doctor inserted a painful dialysis needle in me today.] [I'm on the verge of death. Could you spare a moment to visit me?] [Please, Zach...] Madelyn weakly turned her head and glanced at the text messages on her phone. Despite sending multiple messages, she had received no response from Zach. IV drips were connected to her veins. Her face was pale, her eyes sunken, and her body emaciated. Cancer had ravaged her limbs, causing them to deteriorate. She was completely immobile, unable to perform even the simplest tasks unaided. The nurse assigned to care for her hadn't shown up for almost two weeks, citing that further treatment was unnecessary. Madelyn was sensitive to the pain, but in the advanced stage of her cancer, she had to suffer with it every day. The only thing that kept her going was her love for Zach. But now, her once overwhelming love for him had faded. She was left with nothing but a frail and ailing body. Madelyn switched off her phone and silently awaited the embrace of death. The pain had nearly blurred her consciousness. She reminisced about the eight years she had devoted to being Zach's faithful wife. But what had she gained in the end? One by one, those around her had abandoned her, leaving her alone and destitute. Madelyn couldn't help but think that Zach would perhaps feel the greatest relief upon her demise. With her gone, he no longer subjected to the sight of her face. He could finally satisfy his longing to bring Cecilia Samford home as his wife. Eight months ago, on Zach's birthday, Madelyn sat on the couch, anxiously waiting for his return. It was well past two o'clock in the morning, and the carefully prepared meal on the table had grown cold. Instead of Zach, it was his assistant who arrived, bearing a divorce agreement. The assistant delivered the news hesitantly, saying, "Madam, Mr. Jardin had no choice. The Jardin Corporation is a vast enterprise that requires an heir." Madelyn forced a pale smile. A few years ago, she had been pregnant, but an accident had tragically led to a stillborn child. Since then, she hadn't been able to conceive.
