The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning Chapter 1101 by Max Charming

The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning by Max Charming Chapter 1101

Any news about Zach and Madelyn’s upcoming marriage, even a simple hand -holding moment between them, amplified Yvonne’s resentment.

The plastic surgeon performing Yvonne’s surgery reassured her, “Ms. Young, don’t worry. Fixing the scars on your face is a minor procedure for a professional like me. If you follow up with the treatment properly, there’s a good 50-60% chance of restoring your original appearance.”

Yvonne was not able to speak due to the anesthesia, she closed her eyes in resignation. Her disfigured face, if it could be even partially restored, was all she hoped for now. She was desperate to regain her former appearance and live a normal life with Zach.

‘Madelyn, you took everything from me. I’ll take it all back one day.’ Yvonne thought.

Meanwhile, a servant rushed upstairs with news of an approaching car, ” Madam, the same group of people from last time are here, including your son- in-law, Mr. Jardin.”

Frida, overwhelmed with rage, slapped the servant, “Silence! He’s no longer part of my family. He’s my enemy. Make sure no one gets through that door.”

Yvonne began to panic after she heard the commotion. She could not move due to the anesthesia and struggled in vain. She said, “No, he can’t see me like this.”

The surgeon warned her, “Ms. Young, calm down. We’re at a crucial part of the surgery. If you move now, all our efforts could be wasted.”

Yvonne’s voice, rough and desperate, said, “He’s coming. I can’t let him see me like this.”

The surgeon firmly said, “No. The machine is running and we can’t stop it mid-process. Don’t worry Ms. Young. Your mother will make sure no one comes in.”

Outside, Zach, sheltered by an umbrella and accompanied by Kevin, approached with an aura of dark authority. Frida’s bodyguards were no match for Zach’s group of men.

Zach walked into the hall bringing along the pungent smell of blood. Frida came downstairs, yelling, “You’re all useless! You can’t even stop one person!

Frida refused to let Zach upstairs and confronted him, “How did you know I was here?”

Zach, nonchalantly lighting a cigarette, asked, “Are you going to bring her out, or do I have to look for her myself?”

Suddenly, Frida pointed a gun at Zach and said, “One more step and I’ll kill you!”

Kevin was already standing in front of Zach.

Zach was unfazed and questioned, “Do you even know how to use it?”

He added, “I’ve let you off the hook multiple times. You spied on me, tried to drag me down, and you nearly injured Madelyn in my own house. You’re not getting away this time.”

Zach was a believer in swiftly eliminating any threats, but his leniency in the past had led to this current situation.

Madelyn Jent died on her wedding anniversary. She had been married to Zach Jardin for eight years, compromising for the better part of her life. However, she ended up being kicked out of the house. After the painful divorce, Madelyn was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Despite her deteriorating health, she clung to life in the hospital, hoping that Zach would visit her one last time. As Valentine's Day arrived, heavy snow fell outside. Yet, Zach failed to make an appearance, leaving Madelyn with a deep sense of regret. "Zach Jardin... If I could start over, I would never fall in love with you again!"

Miraculously, Madelyn found herself reborn to the time when she was eighteen. Fueled by the desire to avoid repeating the same mistakes, she made a solemn vow to distance herself from everything related to Zach. But fate seemed determined to test her resolve. Just as she sought to escape the shadows of her past, the same man, Zach, emerged with an intimidating aura, gradually approaching her step by step. His voice, reminiscent of a devil's melody, echoed through the hallway as he declared, "Madelyn, I'll take care of you for the rest of your life..."

Chapter 1 On February 14th, Valentine's Day, Madelyn Jent, a 31-year-old woman, lost her battle to cancer. Inside a room in SereneCare Hospital in Ventropolis, the air was filled with a strong scent of disinfectant. [Zach, the doctor inserted a painful dialysis needle in me today.] [I'm on the verge of death. Could you spare a moment to visit me?] [Please, Zach...] Madelyn weakly turned her head and glanced at the text messages on her phone. Despite sending multiple messages, she had received no response from Zach. IV drips were connected to her veins. Her face was pale, her eyes sunken, and her body emaciated. Cancer had ravaged her limbs, causing them to deteriorate. She was completely immobile, unable to perform even the simplest tasks unaided. The nurse assigned to care for her hadn't shown up for almost two weeks, citing that further treatment was unnecessary. Madelyn was sensitive to the pain, but in the advanced stage of her cancer, she had to suffer with it every day. The only thing that kept her going was her love for Zach. But now, her once overwhelming love for him had faded. She was left with nothing but a frail and ailing body. Madelyn switched off her phone and silently awaited the embrace of death. The pain had nearly blurred her consciousness. She reminisced about the eight years she had devoted to being Zach's faithful wife. But what had she gained in the end? One by one, those around her had abandoned her, leaving her alone and destitute. Madelyn couldn't help but think that Zach would perhaps feel the greatest relief upon her demise. With her gone, he no longer subjected to the sight of her face. He could finally satisfy his longing to bring Cecilia Samford home as his wife. Eight months ago, on Zach's birthday, Madelyn sat on the couch, anxiously waiting for his return. It was well past two o'clock in the morning, and the carefully prepared meal on the table had grown cold. Instead of Zach, it was his assistant who arrived, bearing a divorce agreement. The assistant delivered the news hesitantly, saying, "Madam, Mr. Jardin had no choice. The Jardin Corporation is a vast enterprise that requires an heir." Madelyn forced a pale smile. A few years ago, she had been pregnant, but an accident had tragically led to a stillborn child. Since then, she hadn't been able to conceive.
