On November fifteenth, a joyous occasion unfolded.
The Olsen Residence buzzed with activity from the early hours of the morning, its lights illuminating the surroundings. Attendants and staff members moved about ceaselessly, and elegant white decorations adorned every corner.
Heather woke up early, summoning the city’s finest makeup artist and stylist. Seated before the mirror, she applied makeup and donned her bridal attire. Everyone who laid eyes on her praised her beauty.
With a smile, Heather gestured for the waiter to bring the monetary gifts.
Although this wedding wasn’t as extravagant as Summer’s marriage to Arnold, it was clear that the Olsen family had spared no effort.
In the early morning, Claudia discreetly sent someone to retrieve Summer from the drug rehabilitation center. Lost in her thoughts, her defeated expression evident, she asked in a daze, “What day is it today?”
The attendant stammered in response, “Uh… It’s Ms. Olsen and Dexter’s wedding.”
“Wedding…” Summer’s parched mouth opened and closed, slow to register. After a moment, she burst into laughter. “Heather, Dexter… they’re getting married…”

Inside Heather’s room, Heather had already finished her makeup and was discussing the details with her stylist.
Suddenly, the door swung open from the outside, startling everyone. As they turned to look, they were met with Summer’s pale and fragile face.
Standing quietly at the door, Heather took a sharp breath. “Please, everyone, leave.”
Soon, only the two of them remained in the room. Summer closed the door behind her and slowly approached Heather, scrutinizing her from head to toe. “Mrs. Russell?”
Heather pursed her lips. She had always been too afraid to meet Summer’s gaze directly.
“S-Sum, you’ve returned.”
“Who are you to call me that?”
“Mother asked me to come home for the ceremony. You’ve made remarkable progress, reaching the stage of marriage so quickly.”
Heather forced a smile. “Isn’t this what you’ve longed for? You’re the one who urged me to do this.”
Summer nodded, then suddenly reached out, delivering a harsh slap to Heather’s face.
Heather was struck so forcefully that her head turned to the side. The makeup on her cheek instantly smudged, leaving a clear imprint of a hand. She breathed rapidly.
“At this point, how much of what you do is truly for me?” Summer sarcastically questioned, her gaze piercing. “By assuming the identity of Liana, do you genuinely believe you’ve become her? She continued, “You must be quite pleased with yourself, obtaining everything I couldn’t.”
Heather took a deep breath, straightening her posture. “We had just met, and you told me to become Liana, to become Dexter’s wife. Now that I’ve done it, why are you dissatisfied? Are you jealous of me?”
Summer still remembered their initial encounter, which took place in Arnold’s office. At that time, she had just discovered Josie’s true identity and was unsure of what to do. However, Arnold reassured her and then called Heather in, asking, “What do you think of her?”
Summer was taken aback. “She…”
“Quite similar, isn’t she? Enough to pass as the real thing.”
