An Understated Dominance Chapter 1967 by Marina Vittori

Aidan demonstrated remarkable strength as he skillfully wielded his crescent-shaped dual blades.

With a swift motion, he released a barrage of blade aura toward the golden vines. Each blade carried enough force to split mountains, accompanied by a powerful gust of wind and vibrant lights.

In response to his attack, the silver vines transformed into long spears, hurtling rapidly toward him with astonishing precision.

These spears adeptly intercepted every blade aura, triggering a sequence of explosions. The countless blade auras shattered, forcefully pushing back the silver vines.

“Hmph! Let’s see how tough you are!” Aidan charged forward, crossing his dual blades. With a swift swing, he shouted, “Destruction Slash!”

A crackling sound filled the air as two crescent-shaped blade auras swiftly slashed toward the golden vine.

Initially three feet in length, these razor -sharp blade auras expanded to a towering three yards as they closed in. Appearing like unstoppable blades, they cut through the air with incredible force.

As the imminent threat loomed, the silver vines sprang into action.

Half of them formed a defensive net in front of the golden vine, while the other half turned into long spears, colliding aggressively with the approaching crescent-shaped blade aura.

The clash produced a series of impacts, compelling the proactive silver vines to retreat. They couldn’t withstand the force of the advancing blade aura.

Finally, the relentless crescent-shaped blade aura struck the woven net of silver vines, cutting through the once- impenetrable defense.

The net, renowned for its resistance to blades and imperviousness to fire and water, now bore a significant gap- severed by Aidan’s blade in a single, powerful strike.

This demonstration of destructive power highlighted the prowess of a grandmaster martial artist, effortlessly severing dozens of silver vines with a single stroke.

“Those blade auras are razor-sharp!”

“Sandscale truly lives up to its reputation. Impressive!”

“With Mr. Ridge in action, it looks like we’re in good hands!”.

As Aidan pressed forward with an unstoppable force, everyone couldn’t contain their joy.

The once formidable silver vines, once a daunting challenge, now appeared mere trivial obstacles in the face of the grandmaster martial artist.

It clearly showcased a significant contrast in strength-a powerful demonstration of skill that left no room for doubt. This was true power, an undeniable gap in ability.

“It’s a cakewalk!” Slicing through the gap, Aidan wasted no time seizing the opportunity.

He headed straight for the root of the golden vines, recognizing them as the true danger-the essence of the monster.

By tackling this primary threat first, he aimed to render the remaining silver and gray vines powerless. With a bit of time, he could eliminate them all. At that critical moment, the silver and gray vines launched a relentless and unavoidable assault on him.

“Are these critters trying to show off their feeble skills again?” Aidan sneered, holding his ground defiantly.

He swiftly wielded his dual blades, conjuring a protective shield of blade aura. With determination, he charged directly into the approaching vines.

Upon touching his blade aura shield, the vines were instantly severed. Whether silver or gray, none could harm him.

Within a ten-foot radius, the area turned into a deadly zone where anything approaching would be shredded into pieces.

Aidan left destruction in his wake, an unstoppable force that earned cheers from onlookers. Amidst the chaos, the once motionless golden vine finally stirred. Suddenly, it raised its front end like a whip, swiftly lashing out toward Aidan.

The golden vine, with incredible speed, sliced through the air, emitting a sharp sound as it viciously descended.

The impact was earth-shattering, altering the atmosphere and sending shivers down the spines of witnesses.

Aidan narrowed his eyes as he sized up the situation. In response, he swiftly assumed a defensive stance, crossing his dual blades to confront the oncoming golden vine directly.

The clash erupted in a loud explosion upon impact, unleashing a powerful shockwave that rippled outward. Its force scattered debris and stirred up a cloud of dust, creating a chaotic spectacle.

Gray and silver vines in the vicinity were torn apart, adding to the tumult. As the dust gradually settled, a massive crater marked the point where the golden vine had struck.

Within the deep crater, Aidan stood, visibly tired, sweat-soaked, and panting heavily. His arms felt numb, his hand was injured, and a trickle of blood slowly dripped from his finger to the ground.

His expression turned serious, losing all signs of ease as the golden vine’s downward strike proved too powerful.

Despite his efforts to block, minor injuries were unavoidable. It became evident he couldn’t match the strength of the golden vine. The realization hit him that direct confrontation would be futile now.

“I didn’t expect this thing to be so powerful,” Aidan murmured. He frowned as he cautiously eyed the imposing golden vine.

It was a surprising revelation, something no one in the entire realm could have anticipated -a mere vine possessing the attack and defense capabilities of a grandmaster martial artist.

Aidan turned to the group, shouting, ” Why are you just standing there? Hurry up and escape!

“This thing is tough. I can only buy you ten minutes. After that, it’s every man for himself!”

Upon hearing that, chaos ensued, creating a stir in the entire scene. Aidan, with his commanding presence, had given them confidence in assured victory. However, the situation took an unexpected turn, catching everyone off guard.

The group was in disbelief as they witnessed Sandscale, a formidable grandmaster martial artist, unexpectedly finding himself at a disadvantage after a direct confrontation. They couldn’t help but wonder about the true power of that golden vine.

“Run!” Without hesitation, everyone quickened their pace, understanding that if Aidan couldn’t hold his ground, it could mean the end for all of them.

Grace led the main force, acting like a sharp sword, fiercely fighting through the encircling gray vines and moving swiftly toward the outside.

At that moment, the golden vine launched another attack.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
