An Understated Dominance Chapter 1675 by Marina Vittori

Seth led the three martial artists on the Astonishing World List to a life-and- death battle at the mountain peak.

Meanwhile, Dustin was still the center of attention at the foot of the mountain. However, Dustin felt much more at ease than having to feel Cesar’s stare.

“Abigail, consume this tablet quickly.”

Dustin took the opportunity to create some distance between him and the enemies. Then, he moved toward the injured Abigail and gave her a tablet for healing.

Abigail didn’t hesitate and swallowed it. Her initial pale complexion soon flushed with color. Although she was not fully recovered, the pill helped her regain some of her energy.

“Sir, who is that man just now? He’s so capable!” Abigail was curious.

“He’s the Sword Whisperer, Seth Hughes,” Dustin explained.

“What? He’s the Sword Whisperer, Seth?” Abigail widened her eyes in shock and joy. Although it hadn’t been long since she entered the martial world, she had also heard of Seth’s name.

Seth was someone even her grandmother respected. Seth’s sword skills were unparalleled. He had already reached the highest peak in swordsmanship. Throughout history, no one was comparable with Seth when it came to his sword skills.

Abigail thought that it was no wonder Seth was so formidable. After all, he was the famous Sword Whisperer!

“Don’t get too happy. Cesar, Elder Lane, and Frost are all competent people on the Astonishing World List.

“Uncle Seth will need to put in some effort to defeat them. As for us, we’re not entirely out of danger yet.”

Dustin stared at Abigail and muttered, ” Abigail, you got injured just now. It won’t do you good to fight. I’ll stall them later, and you should use the opportunity to escape. You shouldn’t stay back and fight!”

“Sir, what do you think of me? How could I leave you and escape? Plus, it’s not like I’m completely useless. I can help you a bit when we fight,” Abigail replied unhappily.

“Your life is important! I can’t let you be in danger anymore!” Dustin furrowed his eyebrows.

Dustin felt guilty that Abigail got injured. He didn’t wish for the latter to get into any other accidents again.

“I’m in charge of my own life. You don’t need to worry. Plus, I’m extremely capable. I’m the Mystic Arts Order’s Grand Sorceress, after all. There’s no way I would die so easily!”

“Abigail …” Dustin wanted to say more. However, Nestor had led a group of soldiers and horses and surrounded them.

“Your Grace, you’re already doomed. Instead of worrying about others’ lives, why don’t you think about how you should escape?” Nestor said with a smirk.

“Escape?” Dustin sneered. “Did I say I was going to escape? Only one can leave here alive today. It’s either you or me who would die!”

“What? Do you think you have a chance to win? Or are you hoping for Seth to come and save you?”

After looking in the mountain’s direction, Nestor continued with a smile, “Even if Seth is the famous Sword Whisperer, he would still be overpowered when fighting against three competent martial artists.”

“I don’t need Uncle Seth to kill you. Come and fight fair and square with me if you’re a man.”

Dustin looked at him mockingly as if realizing something. “Oh, I almost forgot. You’re not considered a man. You can only be considered a castrate!”

Upon hearing that, Abigail couldn’t help but laugh. Anders and the others looked at Dustin like he was a fool, their eyelids twitching. They thought that Dustin didn’t know what was good for him. After all, Dustin still dared to mock them even though he was in deep trouble.

It was a direct insult to call Nestor a castrate. He was the unrivaled master within the palace gates, after all.

“Dustin, you’ll only die more miserably if you provoke me.” Nestor’s smile disappeared. His gaze turned more and more vicious.

“Is that so? Let’s see if you can beat me, then!”

Without further ado, Dustin shot forward. Then, he turned into a shadow and attacked first.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
