An Understated Dominance Chapter 1674 by Marina Vittori

Although the sword was still gathering power to unleash its attack, it already emitted a destructive power. It was obvious that the power of this attack was more fierce and terrifying than the last two.

Cesar was so scared that he shook like a leaf. Goosebumps started to appear on his body. Cesar was overwhelmed with the fear of death.

“Why are you guys still hiding? Quickly come out and help!” Cesar used all his might to scream.

His voice was like thunder. It rang throughout the mountains. Just as he finished shouting, a blue figure suddenly emerged from the north. Then, he rushed toward them at an incredible speed.

At the same time, a black figure jumped out from the woods in the north. He turned into a dark mist and drifted over.

As the blue figure approached, everyone realized he was a handsome middle-aged man. The man held a sword with an indifferent expression, exuding a chilling aura. Wherever he went, the plants around him would freeze.

Even the ground he stepped on would be frozen for a radius of 300 feet. This made it impossible for anyone to approach him.

As for the black figure, nobody could see its appearance. They could only see a swirling black mist around the figure. None of them could tell if the figure was a man or a female.

“Oh my goodness! Isn’t that Frostbane Citadel’s Guildmaster, Frost Bane? Why is he here?”

“What? Frost? Isn’t he number seven on the Astonishing World List?”

“Not only is Frost here, but the figure with the black mist should be the Bounty League Leader! He’s number nine on the Astonishing World List, Elder Shade!”

“There’s the unrivaled master within the palace gates, Nestor, followed by the Head of Martial Arts Union, Cesar.

“After that, the Sword Whisperer Seth appeared. Now, even Elder Shade and Frost appeared. What the heck! It’s a battle of the best of the best today!”

“I can’t believe I’m seeing so many legendary figures at once. I can die without any regrets now!”

When Frost and Elder Shade appeared, there was a huge commotion. After all, the Astonishing World List consisted of the most powerful martial artists on earth. They rarely appeared. Thus, a person was considered lucky to be able to meet one.

Therefore, the crowd felt like they were dreaming when so many of them appeared at once.

“I’m Frostbane Citadel’s Guildmaster, Frost Bane. I’m here to seek guidance from you.” Frost held his sword and spoke indifferently. His expression was emotionless and as cold as ice.

“I’ve heard of the Sword Whisperer for a long time. The old me is here to seek some guidance for you.” Elder Shade hid in the black mist and let out a piercing laugh.

“It seems like both of you came here for me.” Seth’s expression was indifferent and emotionless.

“We’re only here as backup. However, we didn’t expect you would come all the way here. Well, you made our wish come true by doing so.” Elder Shade smiled evilly.

“If we can get rid of you now, it’ll be a huge achievement!”

“Do you all have what it takes to defeat me?” There was a hint of mockery on Seth’s face.

“Let’s try it out. Perhaps we can,” Elder Shade replied with a smile.

“Okay. I’ll give you all a chance today. Come at me if you dare.” Tapping his foot, Seth soared into the air and headed toward the top of Quandary Mountain.

With their cultivation level, it would be easy for them to hurt innocent people if they fought here. They needed a secluded area to fight.

“Mr. Bane, you’re the most capable. Why don’t you go first?” Elder Shade tried asking. Frost sneered and jumped without a word. Then, he shot into the air like an arrow and chased after Seth.

“Mr. Fent, are you okay? Can you fight another round?” Elder Shade looked toward Cesar.

“I’m not dead yet.”

Cesar took out a tablet and ate it. After he felt his strength return, he jumped up and rushed toward the mountain peak.

Cesar knew everyone here wasn’t a match with Seth if they fought a one-on -one battle. They had to work together to have a chance at taking him down.

“Mr. Fent, let me assist you!”

Elder Shade was the most alert out of them. After transforming into a puff of black mist, he followed behind Cesar calmly.

Once the four of them reached the summit, a world-shaking battle would soon be unfolded!

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
