An Understated Dominance Chapter 1473 by Marina Vittori

“Turn around? What? Are you able to change things up?” Ezra sniggered condescendingly. He turned around to have a look.

All he saw was how great business was for them at Rejuvenaid Pharmaceuticals. Customers were swarming in, and almost everyone in the elite circle of South City had come to show their support. Besides that, there was nothing out of the ordinary.

“Dustin, I think you’re too old for such childish gimmicks. Does such jokes humor you?” Ezra mocked.

“Hey! Are you just too much of a coward to admit defeat?” Eleanor asked sarcastically.

“We have witnesses, evidence, and the signed agreement! There’s no point saying more. Just surrender the formula already! It’d be less embarrassing for you that way.”

“Who said that we’ve lost? See for yourself, what’s that over there?” Dustin gestured in a direction down the road.

“Hah! Do you think I’d fall for the same trick again?” Ezra huffed without looking back. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Ezra wasn’t stupid enough to be tricked twice.

As they conversed, a black Land Rover sped up to them and stopped right in front of Camron Group’s subsidiary. A buff man in a black suit came out as the door opened.

“Raymond Yoldie of AurumDale Corporation would like to congratulate Camron Medicals on your launching! As a show of support, I would like to order ten million dollars worth of Dew Balm!” the man announced loudly.

Ezra and Eleanor’s smile immediately froze when they heard that. They had thought that Dustin was just bluffing. It turned out that he really had people coming over to support them.

“Thank you for your support, Mr. Yoldie! Please, come on in!” Lana was overjoyed and quickly ushered the man in.

A ten-million-dollar order might be nothing compared to the orders that Rejuvenaid Pharmaceuticals was getting, but it was a good sign for them nonetheless.

“Ezra, is there an AurumDale Corporation in South City? I don’t recall there ever being such a company,” Eleanor wondered aloud curiously. The Welch and Swanson families controlled the South City, so they knew almost all the rich and powerful elites in the area.

“AurumDale Corporation is from the East City. If I’m guessing it right, Bo must have invited this person,” Ezra explained.

“I see.” Eleanor nodded, unbothered. It was just a ten-million-dollar order. It was nothing. She would not let something so trivial get to her.

“Dustin, you can’t be thinking that you can compete against us with just the support of AurumDale Corporation, can you? You’d be too naive to think so!” Ezra smirked.

That was just a second-tier company. How could it ever be compared to the elites they have connections with?

“What’s the rush? The show is just beginning.” Dustin remained unfazed.

“Just starting? Haha! I’d like to see what you’re capable of!” Ezra looked at Dustin in disdain.

He had barely finished speaking when a long convoy of cars showed up around the corner-the convoy comprised of luxury cars, each worth at least millions. There were sports cars, sedans, SUVs, and many others.

The convoy showed up in an orderly manner, captivating the crowd’s attention. Finally, the cars all stopped at Camron Medicals as everyone watched on.

As the doors of the cars opened one by one, well-dressed elites and influential figures came out from the cars to congratulate them on the launch.

“Larry Yards of Shineford Corporation congratulates Camron Medicals on the  official launch of your company! I’d like to place a 20 million dollar order for Dew Balm!”

“Harris Mortson of Dinsby Medicals here to congratulate Camron Medicals on your launching! I’d like to place a 30 million dollar order for Dew Balm!”

“Gathson Orms of Royals Group would like to order 80 million dollars of Dew Balm! Congratulations on the launch of Camron Medicals! All the best!”

More and more rich and influential figures came to congratulate the Camrons and placed huge orders for Dew Balm. Their popularity and orders began to match that of Rejuvenaid Pharmaceuticals.

Ezra and Eleanor could no longer keep the smiles on their faces.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
