Chapter 9 Dancing Queen
In Everbright, two handsome men with an intimidating aura were sitting in the center booth of the underground nightclub.
These two handsome men were none other than Nikola and Isaac. Nikola glanced at Isaac, who looked solemn beside him and complained. “How are we going to have fun after you scared all those women away? How about I look for some other more women?”
At once, Isaac shot him a sharp death glare. Nikola immediately raised his white flag upon receiving said death glare.
“Fine. Fine. I won’t request any call girl, alright?”
Later, he added again, “But there’s a highlight tonight. Everbright’s dancing queen is back, and she’ll perform tonight. I heard that the woman is exceptionally beautiful, and her figure is curvaceous.”
When he talked, the emotions in his eyes changed into one of anticipation. He couldn’t wait for the woman to appear.
In contrast with Nikola’s excitement, Isaac was calm. Then, he nipped the cigarette with his slender fingers as he brushed off the ashes.
“Not interested.”
When Nikola saw his reaction, he was quite bewildered. Then, he recalled that there was a woman Isaac had been searching for, so he asked while pouring two glasses of liquor, “Ise, what does the woman you’re looking for look like?”
This fellow has been looking for a woman for the past six years.
At this rate, we really want to know how the woman who can capture Isaac’s heart looks!
Isaac took the glass Nikola handed over. After calmly taking a sip, he said, “I don’t know.”
Nikola spurted out his liquor in shock when he heard those words. Finally, he looked at Isaac in disbelief. “You don’t know how she looks? Yet why on earth are you still looking for her?”
Isaac is the head of the top prominent family in Appleby. He’s a legend in the business world who is known for his diabolical methods and high IQ.
But why do I feel like he’s mentally disabled after I heard the words he just said?
Isaac didn’t bother answering him as he drank the liquor in one shot. Once he put down the glass, the brightness in his eyes dimmed several degrees.
“What matters is that I will find her!”
At this moment, the DJ on the stage shouted in excitement, “Ladies and gentlemen, let us welcome our ever-beautiful, sexy, and alluring dancing queen—Little Doe!”
Following the DJ’s introduction, a woman in white tulle dress appeared in the midst of warm applause.
The dress was very simple, conservative, and not revealing. Under the complement of the woman’s delicate facial structure, it seemed to have a touch of ethereal.
Taking leisure steps, she came to the stage. Once she got on the stage, she bowed to the audience. Then, she climbed onto the pole and performed a difficult dance routine.
Like a dancing fairy, she spun and leaped. The hem of her dress rippled along with her steps.
The people in the nightclub screamed and cheered as they watched the woman dance. In an instant, the atmosphere of the place became utterly heated.
Meanwhile, Nikola patted Isaac’s thigh excitedly as he watched this scene on the stage.
“Damn! It’s so beautiful! This is the first time I’ve seen a pole dancer dressed like this, yet she doesn’t look out of place at all. In fact, she looked exactly like a fairy maiden descending to earth.”
As for Isaac, he recognized the woman at a glance. Isn’t she the woman I just met a few days ago? Patricia Aniston?
Once he realized this, he smoked his cigarette heavily, and the gaze in his eyes turned chilly.
Suddenly, Nikola approached him. “Ise, this woman isn’t bad. I like her.”
Isaac said dispassionately in response, “Sure. Go ahead and chase after her if you want to be a stepdad.”
“What?!” At once, Nikola cast his gaze over as he didn’t understand the meaning behind his words.
“Her daughter is four or five years old,” Isaac said calmly for some unknown reason.
As he spoke, he thought of the adorable little girl he met the other day. Instantly, he felt an inexplicable touch of gentleness in his heart.
Without a doubt, that little girl was fascinating. The way she talked was just like an adult. She even said she wanted to treat me to a meal.
In the meantime, Nikola was completely stunned after he heard Isaac’s words. “Her daughter is so grown up?! But her body is still so sexy. Such a pity.”
While Nikola spoke, he felt a gouging pain in his heart. At that moment, his eyes scanned around the place and glanced at all the men present in the nightclub. If these men knew about this, I’m sure they might all feel stabbed in the heart like me!
The song ended, and Patricia stopped dancing. After her performance, she panted slightly, walked to the front of the stage, and bowed to the audience.
Shortly after, the men in the audience stared at her with passionate gazes. One by one, they started placing their bids and competing against each other.
“Ten thousand!”
“Twenty thousand!”
“Thirty thousand!”
