The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning Chapter 463 by Max Charming

The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning By Max Charming chapter 463

After the struggle, beads of sweat had formed on Madelyn’s forehead. Her nightgown was disheveled, revealing a significant portion of her flawless skin. She was both angry and embarrassed, her expression only serving to further excite Zach.

Zach stared at her intensely, as if he wanted to see right through her. Madelyn didn’t want to meet his gaze. She turned her face to the side, focusing on the curtains. Zach couldn’t resist planting a kiss on her delicate collarbone.

Margaret had already left the mansion. Madelyn and Zach were alone in there, so no matter how much Madelyn resisted, she couldn’t escape his grasp. It felt like her fate was almost predetermined. Even though Zach wouldn’t go all the way, she still feared that he might if he got too aroused.

In addition, with Hayson gone, it seemed like the entire Jent family had become Zach’s domain.

Zach’s last bit of patience had worn thin. “Well, then let me help you choose,” he said as he brushed his manhood against her chin.

Madelyn struggled hard again. She closed her eyes as she snarled, “You freaking pervert. Leave me alone!”

“Shh… Just a while, okay?”

Forty minutes had passed. Madelyn grabbed whatever was nearby, wiping off what was on her chest and face. Then, in one swift motion, she tossed it right at Zach’s head.

“… I fucking want to kill you, you jerk! Get out now!”

Zach nonchalantly removed the shirt from his head, tossing it to a corner. Then, he stood up and lifted Madelyn from the bed.

Madelyn extended her leg and aimed a kick, but Zach swiftly evaded it. She took the opportunity to dart to the other side of the bed, intending to reach the door. Just as the door was slightly ajar, there was a sudden and forceful ‘thud’ as it was slammed shut.

Zach seized her, causing her to twist and lie flat against the door, showcasing her graceful curves and her waist. Except for a few models with exceptional figures, not every woman possessed such a waist.

In the world of business and power, Zach had encountered various exchanges. Among all the women he had seen, none could compare to Madelyn, the girl he currently pinned against the door.

“You’ve got some guts, trying to kick me there.”

“You’ll end up with no heir and die a horrible death. Mark my words.”

Zach gripped her waist, making her bend slightly. He tilted his head, appreciating her figure with a smirk.’ With this much temper, it seemed she won’t give up her life easily,’ he thought to himself.

His hands roamed, urging her to clasp her thighs together. “If I’m going to die, I want to die on top of you.”

Madelyn bit her lip, her eyes filled with even greater humiliation. Zach had never loved her; he had always treated her like a plaything, summoning her at his will and discarding her just as easily. She thought, ‘He’s only into my body…’

Zach rubbed his manhood between her thighs. After over an hour, Zach finally released her. Madelyn felt utterly drained, her body on the verge of collapse. He caught her just in time and carried her into the bathroom.

Madelyn’s fingers could hardly move, her mind shrouded in a hazy fog. It had to be acknowledged that Zach was not only a man who desired her every day but also a master of seduction…

Under his relentless pursuit, the overwhelming satisfaction she experienced was mingled with resentment, yet every time she found herself unable to push him away. Madelyn had slept for nearly twenty hours and woke up at four-thirty in the morning.

Both of them lay unclothed, sharing the same bed. Madelyn’s back was pressed against his warm body. She stared blankly out of the window, and for some reason, it gave her a feeling as if she had not been reborn, and there was no second beginning at all.

Madelyn Jent died on her wedding anniversary. She had been married to Zach Jardin for eight years, compromising for the better part of her life. However, she ended up being kicked out of the house. After the painful divorce, Madelyn was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Despite her deteriorating health, she clung to life in the hospital, hoping that Zach would visit her one last time. As Valentine's Day arrived, heavy snow fell outside. Yet, Zach failed to make an appearance, leaving Madelyn with a deep sense of regret. "Zach Jardin... If I could start over, I would never fall in love with you again!"

Miraculously, Madelyn found herself reborn to the time when she was eighteen. Fueled by the desire to avoid repeating the same mistakes, she made a solemn vow to distance herself from everything related to Zach. But fate seemed determined to test her resolve. Just as she sought to escape the shadows of her past, the same man, Zach, emerged with an intimidating aura, gradually approaching her step by step. His voice, reminiscent of a devil's melody, echoed through the hallway as he declared, "Madelyn, I'll take care of you for the rest of your life..."

Chapter 1 On February 14th, Valentine's Day, Madelyn Jent, a 31-year-old woman, lost her battle to cancer. Inside a room in SereneCare Hospital in Ventropolis, the air was filled with a strong scent of disinfectant. [Zach, the doctor inserted a painful dialysis needle in me today.] [I'm on the verge of death. Could you spare a moment to visit me?] [Please, Zach...] Madelyn weakly turned her head and glanced at the text messages on her phone. Despite sending multiple messages, she had received no response from Zach. IV drips were connected to her veins. Her face was pale, her eyes sunken, and her body emaciated. Cancer had ravaged her limbs, causing them to deteriorate. She was completely immobile, unable to perform even the simplest tasks unaided. The nurse assigned to care for her hadn't shown up for almost two weeks, citing that further treatment was unnecessary. Madelyn was sensitive to the pain, but in the advanced stage of her cancer, she had to suffer with it every day. The only thing that kept her going was her love for Zach. But now, her once overwhelming love for him had faded. She was left with nothing but a frail and ailing body. Madelyn switched off her phone and silently awaited the embrace of death. The pain had nearly blurred her consciousness. She reminisced about the eight years she had devoted to being Zach's faithful wife. But what had she gained in the end? One by one, those around her had abandoned her, leaving her alone and destitute. Madelyn couldn't help but think that Zach would perhaps feel the greatest relief upon her demise. With her gone, he no longer subjected to the sight of her face. He could finally satisfy his longing to bring Cecilia Samford home as his wife. Eight months ago, on Zach's birthday, Madelyn sat on the couch, anxiously waiting for his return. It was well past two o'clock in the morning, and the carefully prepared meal on the table had grown cold. Instead of Zach, it was his assistant who arrived, bearing a divorce agreement. The assistant delivered the news hesitantly, saying, "Madam, Mr. Jardin had no choice. The Jardin Corporation is a vast enterprise that requires an heir." Madelyn forced a pale smile. A few years ago, she had been pregnant, but an accident had tragically led to a stillborn child. Since then, she hadn't been able to conceive.
