The female doctor was frozen in place for a long while before her expression changed drastically. But then, she stomped her feet and snorted coldly, “It’s just good luck. Alex smiled, thinking that this female doctor was a joke. “Whatever you think, as long as you’re happy.”
The female doctor gritted her teeth. She knew that her words were a bit irrational, but as an outstanding graduate of a famous university who had been repeatedly rated as an advanced individual in the hospital, she was arrogant and proud. How could she admit that she had lost to a young man like Alex?

She turned around and left. Staying here made her feel hot, as hot as having a fever. A few policemen had heard the woman’s shouts, and had gathered more men before walking over in a hurry.

“Are you the one who made trouble here and obstructed them from saving people?”
Alex pointed at the father and daughter inside the ward.
The situation was obvious: the patient was now alive and well. Douglas had also shown his gratitude towards Alex.
“You’re a doctor?” One police woman asked.
“Yes.”
“Do you have your qualification cert?”
“I don’t have it on me.”
“I would like to have a look at your ID card.”
Alex looked at the police woman, and felt like he was being singled out. He didn’t voice a single protest as he took out a black ID and handed it over.
The police woman was angry. She wanted his ID card, so why was be giving her his driver’s license? In the end, she flipped it open and was stunned. In the next second, her expression changed drastically and she saluted before handing back his credentials respectfully. The ID that he handed over was the one that Anna had given him previously.
It was his identity status in the Divine Constabulary. Sky had promoted him two levels up so his status was now equivalent to a captain of a soo-men platoon in Divine Constabulary.
“It’s just a misunderstanding. Let’s go!”
“Douglas, I asked you to chase people away, why did you bring so many people here? A hospital needs peace and quiet. Is this some fan gathering?”
Douglas didn’t dare make any further delays after he heard that as he dismissed his people immediately.
The small chaos ended like that.

“Dad, I want to eat braised pig trotters from that popular shop in Detroit,” Susan said to her father.
“Alright, I’ll get someone to buy some right away.”
“Dad, could you buy it personally?”
“I…”
Douglas could tell that his daughter was deliberately pushing him away. He was a little dejected, and he said, “You can just tell me to leave bluntly. Asking me to go buy pig trotters from Detroit… Don’t you know that there’s a lot of traffic at this time. You’re just deliberately tossing me around now.”
