Bianca gritted her teeth. Despite their numerical advantage, the four beasts they faced were not to be underestimated. Their skin was tough, their bodies seemingly impenetrable, and they appeared to possess an inexhaustible strength.
If things continued this way, even if they weren’t killed by the beasts, they’d surely die from sheer exhaustion!
“Everyone, stay strong! Our only chance of victory lies in unity. If we fall into chaos now, no one will be able to escape when the time comes. We’ll all be doomed!” Bianca shouted at the others.
In truth, these holy maidens were aware that if they fell into chaos now and retreated, they would surely be slaughtered by these snow- cloud beasts.
“Let’s give it our all!”
“Yeah!”
One by one, the holy maidens cried out, their eyes gleaming red as they pushed their bodies to their utmost potential.
Their frost swords radiated waves of sword energy, which then converged together.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The group of holy maidens unleashed their full potential, each blast of their sword energy fiercely striking the bodies of the snow-cloud beasts.
The snow-cloud beasts roared, continuously releasing gusts of icy breath from their mouth. Following that, the bodies of the holy maidens slowly became covered in frost.
Thankfully, these holy maidens practiced ice- based techniques, so they naturally resisted the frost attacks of the snow-cloud beasts.
Had they been practicing any other technique, they would have probably turned into an ice sculpture by now.
However, each of their sword strikes was imbued with frost energy, so they couldn’t inflict significant damage despite landing blows on the snow-cloud beasts.
In conclusion, both parties naturally possessed a resistance to frost energy.
Just as Bianca and her companions were in a tense standoff with the four demon beasts, a sudden wave of intense heat swept over them.
“Ice is weak against fire! Use this demonic fire to attack them!” Jared yelled at Bianca and her group.
The heat wave turned out to be a ball of demonic fire summoned by Jared. Even while engaged in battle with an Eighth Level Tribulator demon beast, he had kept a vigilant eye on Bianca and her companions.
Bianca nodded, then shouted, “Ladies, we have fire on our side now! Let’s do this!”
Each of the dozen or so holy maidens unleashed their maximum potential.
Subsequently, streams of white spiritual energy gathered above their heads by flowing along the dozen frost swords.
Then, the ball of demonic fire was enveloped within this white spiritual energy. Immediately after, this ball of spiritual energy rapidly headed toward the four snow-cloud beasts.
Boom!
It exploded dramatically in front of the four demon beasts. Following this, a wave of intense heat swept out, a sea of flames instantly engulfing the snow-cloud beasts.
The demon beasts roared in pain, and the scent of something burning continuously wafted toward the women.
Upon seeing the situation, Bianca quickly raised her voice to order, “This is our chance! Get them!”
The holy maidens simultaneously wielded their frost swords. Countless streams of sword energy came together, forming an enormous longsword.
The longsword flew forward, the ground shaking with the power it contained.
The sword flashed through the sea of fire in an instant, and the agonized screams of the snow- cloud beasts ceased in the next moment.
As the flames slowly faded, the bodies of the four snow-cloud beasts were revealed to have already been torn apart.
Gradually, the enormous longsword began to fade away. Meanwhile, Jared brandished his Dragonslayer Sword, causing the entire space to plunge into a standstill.
Immediately following, a streak of white light flashed before it was gone in the blink of an eye.
To everyone’s surprise, the Eighth Level Tribulator snow-cloud beast had been slashed into countless pieces.
A pearl, exuding a white mist, hung suspended in mid-air.
“Is that a beast core?”
Upon observing the pearl, Jared realized that it was the beast core of the snow-cloud beast. Waves of chilling radiance were continuously emanating outward from the item.
Upon grabbing the beast core, a chilling sensation that was bone-deep spread throughout his entire body.
This was surprising as Jared’s current strength was such that he no longer feared the bitter cold, especially considering he also had fire nascence.
“The beast core of a snow-cloud beast is truly a valuable item.”
Jared immediately stashed the beast core into his Storage Ring.
