“I‘ve been thinking about when I should give this to you, but I think if I keep thinking about it, I won’t have a chance to give it to you today. But I don‘t want to wait until tomorrow...”
After Clayton said that, he took a step back and let go of her. He then stepped forward with his back to the floor–to–ceiling window, and slowly knelt on one knee in front of her.
