“I want soup.”

The next second, Nicole immediately deleted the text message and acted as if she had not
seen anything
Clayton handed over the soup. “Careful, it’s hot. Just take a few sips. I’m afraid your stomach won’t be able to handle all that food…”
His voice was kind and very patient as he persuaded her.
Nicole smiled. The small episode just now did not seem to matter. Nicole took it with a smile.
“Okay. You’re so naggy, Mr. Sloan…”

Clayton looked at her helplessly.

Kai would definitely laugh at Nicole for a whole year.
Clayton laughed speechlessly. “Fine… I won’t say anything. Do you want some water?”
Nicole nodded her head.
Clayton cleared the table, went to wash his hands, and came back. “Do you want to take a nap? I’ll wake you up when your dad is awake.”
