Nicole nodded with understanding.
“You should’ve told me earlier so I wouldn’t have had to agree to Eric’s request.” Nicole felt aggrieved just by mentioning it.
Clayton hurriedly apologized.

The surgery was scheduled for the afternoon of the next day.

Even Aida rushed over to wait in front of the operating room despite the physical inconvenience.
