“No…” “Then why did you…” Julie hesitated to speak. Yvette smiled.“ I just feel like I like him more and more each day. Every day is different, so I want to introduce the Sean Moore of today to you guys!” Nicole and Julie were speechless. They wanted to puke! Yvette looked around.“ I have to bow to Grandpa Carter. Did you prepare any gifts?” Julie laughed. “The Old Master will faint if you bow to him. He’s afraid you might extort him!” Nicole nodded. “That’s right!” Yvette snorted in anger and ran away. “You guys wait here. I’ll be right back.” Old Master Carter doted on them the most. There was no reason not to go take a look. Nicole chuckled. Then, she suddenly heard Julie exclaim.
The wine in her cup accidentally spilled on her clothes. She was exasperated. It was really an accident. “ Can you accompany me to change my clothes?” Julie looked at her. Nicole nodded.
“Okay, let’s go upstairs.” They found their room cards and went straight upstairs. Julie smiled in embarrassment. “Fortunately, I prepared extra clothes. Otherwise, I’d have to leave.” “Yeah. You wouldn’t be able to watch the show if you left.” Nicole laughed. The elevator arrived. The two of them walked out. As Julie went to the room to change her clothes, Nicole frowned in distress on her phone outside. “What’s wrong?”
Nicole shook the phone in her hand.“ I got a call, but my phone ran out of battery and turned off before I could answer.” Julie laughed. “Did you see who the call was from?” Before Nicole could answer, Julie asked with a smile. “Is it from Mr. Sloan? Is that why you’re so anxious?” Nicole turned away.
“Who’s anxious?
I’m just worried that he called for something urgent.” Of course, Nicole would not admit that she really was anxious. She still acted calm and cool on the surface. Nicole put her phone away. Forget it, she would just borrow someone else’s phone to call back later. Just as she thought about that, Julie put away her soiled clothes.
“Let’s go.” Nicole nodded, and the two of them went downstairs. The elevator opened. She heard Claire yelling at the top of her lungs, but before she could listen carefully, Ian suddenly ran over from somewhere and pulled Nicole’s wrist to walk toward the crowd. “Did you know? Clayton actually mistook someone else as you and hugged that person…”
