Lin Xinyan could feel his arrhythmical heartbeat at this very moment. She wanted to ask why he would be here, yet realized that she couldn’t utter a word even though she opened her mouth.
When they were walking up the stairway, Zong Jinghao looked back at Shen Peichuan and said, “You can go back.”
Shen Peichuan understood his intention in just a second. He turned around and left without saying a word.

But since she was afraid to be disappointed, she added, “You’re here for business.”
As Zong Jinghao still remained silent, Lin Xinyan felt rather uneasy. As she got increasingly unsettled and anxious, she asked carefully, “What’s wrong?”
Zong Jinghao who was carrying her in his arms reached the floor that they had reserved entirely. Shen Peichuan had already come up and made the arrangements to send away all of their men who were guarding the passageway, before keeping himself in the room of Lin Xichen and Lin Ruixi. After pushing open the door of a room, he walked in, locked the door and carried Lin Xinyan to the bedroom to put her down on the bed.
Since his silence was terrifying, Lin Xinyan didn’t dare open her mouth.
Zong Jinghao just sized her up silently. She looks simple and innocent since she doesn’t really like to put on makeup. If she’s wearing jeans and t-shirt, some would even think that she’s a varsity student, and can’t tell that she’s already a mother with two children.
