Oops! I Married A CEO By Mistake Chapter 58

58- Paid Love

“Ooh! Hunter! It Hurts!”

“Sweetheart! Just let it slide more, then it would be all good… I promise!”

“I don’t think I would ever be able to walk after this.” Abigail groaned. “Abigail! It was your decision. Remember?” he tried to be stern without succeeding much.

“But I never knew it would be a little painful.” She complained “Don’t worry about that I will help you.” He was trying to be helpful as always.

“Hunter, please take it out….. And please would you stop moving it any further.” She whimpered in pain, Ouch.”

“Abigail! Sugar! It hurts because you are not used to it.”

He said gently while inspecting the sandals on her feet. “By the way, it looks good.” He smiled. “If you think it’s not comfortable enough then we can try something else. But the only problem with it is you are not used to pencil heels.”

He did not know how to explain this to her. She wanted to wear pencil heels at the wedding, which she had never done in her life. Molly who was sitting near them rolled her eyes, “Abigail, he is right. Select this one. I would make you practice. I promise.”

Their day had started with whining on Abi’s part. Upon waking up when she found herself almost nak*d in bed, under the sheets, with Hunter coming out of the bathroom with an evil smile on his face. A towel was wrapped around his waist, and she lost it.

“Hunter! What happened last night.” Her tone was stern.

“Whatever it was… believe me it was beautiful.” He replied with a straight face. “Hunter Levisay! What does it suppose to mean?” she clutched the sheets to her chest more tightly.

“Mean? Umm… Nothing!” his body was still wet and fresh with the shower, he had just taken. He scratched his head and then started taking off his towel. Abigail’s shocked scream came out of her mouth with her hand covering her eyes.

“STOP! What do you think you are doing?” After a few moments, she could feel his breath on her face.

“Honey, move away your hand. There is nothing you haven’t seen last night.” She swallowed audibly totally missing the laughter in his voice. Then a slight whisper from her mouth, “Shit!”

She didn’t know why her bed was shaking so violently but peeking with only one eye she saw Hunter laughing uncontrollably. He was wearing decent pajama shorts.

Not understanding a thing, she glanced at his face then pinched his wet abs. She started hitting him with a pillow. He kept on laughing.

Then holding the pillow with one hand and bringing his face near hers he smirked. Looking into her eyes he batted his own. “Sugar! You have forgotten about your sheets.”

Not understanding Abi looked at herself and was horrified to see her forgotten sheets on her lap exposing her entire naked chest. Hunter was still sitting near her, with his back facing her. Tying the sheets properly around herself she gave him a murderous look and went to the bathroom. She could still hear his booming laughter when she was closing the door.

When she and Molly entered the room Molly stopped short. “Abigail, this is exquisite.” This was the first time she had visited the penthouse portion where Abi and Hunter were living. After sandals’ quest was over, Hunter went to the office while they both decided to take a drop there.

Molly still could not understand, why Hunter wanted to accompany them for sandals shopping.

Abi ordered drinks for them. Molly was looking around with great curiosity, When she discovered the pool below the patio area she just could not take it anymore. “Abigail, you are lucky, man! No need for a wedding when you can easily achieve your aim by just bringing Chloe and Kyle here.”

She was way too excited. They both were planning for a movie when Hunter called her.

“What you two are doing?”

“Nothing. We were just planning to watch a movie.” He chuckled at that.

“Why don’t you two call room service and have a body massage or something from the hotel salon. Just get relaxed a bit.”

“Really?… Can we?”

“Yes, Sugar. Why not? It’s all part of the package.”

“You mean hotel package?”

“Don’t be silly, Abi. It’s part of OUR package. Ok? Now go! Get relaxed.” He disconnected the call without listening to her arguments. They both were in heaven after having a leisurely splendid body massage accompanied with a manicure pedicure.

“When are we supposed to shop for your wedding dress? We don’t have much time Abi.” They both were now getting their nails painted.

“Tomorrow morning Moll! We would get done with it. I promise.” She sighed in pure bliss. Hunter had requested the presence of a world-class, famous dress designer who happened to be a wedding dress specialist and his friend too. She had promised him to get it done within 48 hours.

“By the way my understanding was, you would wear the same wedding dress… umm… the previous one.” Molly was being hesitant but she needed to ask this.

“I wanted to. But… I don’t know… Hunter flatly refused. He even asked me to give it to some other bride.” She inspected her nails when they were done.

“Maybe he understood all the pain and hurt associated with it?” Molly commented while getting her foot done.

“Might be. Who knows?” Abi just shrugged.

“What’s the plan for the evening?” Molly turned to her. “This evening I need to meet Granma. Then he is planning to take me for A PERFECT DATE!” she smiled brightly.

“Wow. He is spoiling you to bits.” Molly threw her a teasing look.

“I know.” She went quiet. “He is the best outcome of all the grief and torture I went through.”

“Are you sure that … you are not getting involved in him? Or is Hunter not getting involved with you? … I mean no special affection or something between you two?” the salon girls had left them quietly with a barely audible thank you and bye!

Molly was dying to ask this and she did it so casually congratulating herself. But she needed to ask this.

“God! Molly! No. This is totally for revenge purposes. Yes, we have become allies, we have got each other’s back. And I do value it a lot. But Hunter is a free spirit. He can sleep with women, can carry on meaningless flings, but no lifetime commitments.” Closing her eyes she added. “We both are not ready for it.”

“You do trust him. Right? I mean… After Kyle, it was not easy to trust anyone. But you did.”

“Trust?” Abigail laughed heartily, “It’s not about trust man. It’s about getting paid services. I sacrificed my handsome salary for this. I offered to do most of Hunter’s work for free. So in a way, I am paying for his services. His smiles, his kisses, and the way he treats me… Everything is paid. There is nothing between us… If that’s what you are interested to know. AND…” Abigail rolled her eyes examining her feet, “He might be handsome but… Sorry. Not my type. So no question of sex with him dude.”

Molly did not believe her but preferred to nod her head.

After dropping Abigail and Molly, Hunter got busy with his office work. He needed to wrap the maximum workload before the wedding.

Thinking of Abigail reminded him what happened this morning. Smiling to himself he got busy again. True to his word he had taken the wedding dress appointment for the next morning, along with the accessories.

And he made sure that everything would be classy. Because his wife deserved the best.

After several attempts, when he could not bring himself to work, he threw his pen aside and looked towards the other table placed in his office. The one that belonged to Abigail.

He had always been so in love with his privacy that he had never imagined in his wildest dreams that he would allow any woman to share his office space and his bedroom. Abigail was an exception.

What she must be doing right now? Were they done with their massage?

What if he would visit them now?

Molly might suspect that something fishy was going on. But his relationship with Abigail was not an ordinary one. They had become closer to each other in no time.

Glancing at the huge wall clock in his office he stood up and headed towards the elevators. He would have a light chit -chat with them just for a few minutes. After a few banters and some silly jokes he would come back to work.

That will freshen his mood and mind. He stepped into his living room and placed his jacket on the couch. He could hear their laughter coming from the bedroom.

He went near the door and lifted his hand to knock on the door but…

His hand went still when he heard the conversation.

“Trust? It’s not about trust, man.

AND… He might be handsome but… Sorry. Not my type. So no question of s3x with him dude.”

Hunter’s arm dropped to his side. He stood there for a few seconds then turned on his heels, picked up his jacket, and quietly left.
