Creak!
“Let me down, bad daddy. Let me down now. I want to find mommy!” The childish voice of a kid spread through the quiet surroundings clearly from the entrance.
Everyone’s expression changed drastically.
Bang! The next second, they could hear the door being closed by someone.
Han Muzi was dumbfounded for two seconds before she stood up right away and walked toward the door. Song An and Yan also went along with her while Yuchi Jin and Yu Bo looked at each other with suspicion in their eyes.
A while later, Yu Bo opened his mouth. “Could it be that… Young Master Xuan is back?”
Then, Yuchi Jin quickly got up while holding onto his cane.
Before Han Muzi even went out, she already saw Ye Moxuan coming in with Little Bean in his arms. The coldness outside still surrounded his body as his handsome face had turned pale by the freezing temperature, but his stature was still imposing. He then pressed his lips, as though he couldn’t even feel the cold. However, most importantly, there was a faint bruise on his left eye.
Meanwhile, Little Bean was carried by him with just a hand, like a little chick.
“Let me go, you bad daddy!” Little Bean wanted to walk by himself when he was outside, but no matter how hard he tried, Ye Moxuan never loosened his hand. Although it was only just a hand, Little Bean still couldn’t move away from it. At the end, he was even panting.
Little Bean felt discouraged. He thought that his strong daddy only knew how to bully kids who were still young and lacked the strength.
“Why are you guys…” Han Muzi was hesitant as she didn’t know what to say. Ye Moxuan should have been lying on the bed in his ward at this time. Why did he suddenly bring Little Bean back?
There were too many events that happened today. After being quiet for a few days, Ye Moxuan suddenly burst out in rage and questioned her who was the father of her unborn child. Before she could think of an excuse, Little Bean appeared in her house all of a sudden from abroad. Then, he asked Ye Moxuan to squat down before punching him in the face, thereby sending his daddy straight to the hospital. Just as they went home, Yuchi Jin suddenly appeared, and now, Ye Moxuan was back again with Little Bean.
I can’t handle it anymore. There’s just too much happening constantly. She felt that her heart couldn’t take it any longer.
She shook her head while holding it with her hands. Why do I have the feeling that what happened today wasn’t real?
Just as Han Muzi was getting a headache, a hand suddenly grabbed her fine wrist. She was startled for a moment before she lifted her head to see Ye Moxuan in front of her. He had stretched out his hand, which wasn’t carrying Little Bean, to pull her hand down. Then, his huge hand replaced hers as it gently rubbed her head.
“Not feeling well?” he asked with a husky voice.
Ye Moxuan’s husky voice and cold fingers pulled Han Muzi back to reality, and she looked at the man in front of her blankly. She finally realized that what happened tonight was real.
“Mommy, what happened to you?” Little Bean was still struggling in Ye Moxuan’s arms, but after hearing his concerns about her, he stopped his tiny limbs and asked her with a nervous look.
The affection she got from the father and son really made her happy in the moment. Her nose started to twinge as she shook her head. “I’m fine.”
“Why did you come back? Aren’t you supposed to be in the hospital?” Song An’s voice came from behind loudly. Yan followed her over, but when she saw Xiao Su not far behind Ye Moxuan, she felt a cheer inside her before she ran toward him immediately and hid behind his back.
Xiao Su was confused.
“It’s so good that you’re here. I was the only outsider here, but now with you, I finally have someone to accompany me,” Yan said to him.
Xiao Su was rendered speechless. When he first saw her coming toward him, a strange feeling came up inside him, but after hearing her words, all the thoughts suddenly faded away.
I shouldn’t have any ideas for this woman, Xiao Su thought to himself.

Song An realized that he had been staring at her, so she remembered the doctor’s words and asked him instinctively, “Have you regained your memory?”
Hearing her words, everyone focused their attention on Ye Moxuan.
She was right. The doctor said that they needed to wait until he woke up before they could determine whether he had recovered his memories. The people here didn’t stay at the hospital, so naturally, they didn’t know of Ye Moxuan’s condition after he woke up. They didn’t know if he had gotten his memory back.
However, Little Bean’s appearance exposed everything they hid from him, so there wasn’t any reason for them to lie to him now.
Meanwhile, Ye Moxuan frowned as he pressed his lips.
“Daddy has no conscience. He didn’t remember anything at all.” After that, a trace of disappointment flashed through Little Bean’s face as he couldn’t help but pinch Ye Moxuan’s face while deforming his features.
Everyone remained silent.
Even though Ye Moxuan was frowning, it seemed to be caused by the actions of Little Bean. A trace of helplessness flashed through his dark eyes.
Yuchi Jin and Yu Bo arrived late. After hearing the voice of Ye Moxuan, Yuchi Jin thought of the words Song An told him just now. Although he didn’t want to admit it, her words really hit hard in his heart.

He gazed at the back of that tiny head. Ye Moxuan’s face was almost deformed by him, but he wasn’t angry at all; instead, there was only helplessness in his eyes.
Could he be… Yuchi’s… Moxuan’s child? No. How is that possible? Back then, he had already sent someone to look into it. He knew that the two of them were together for a long time, but there were lots of conflicts and splitting ups in between, so they didn’t have a kid; that was why he was cruel in tearing them apart. But now, who was this child that suddenly came out of nowhere?
While Little Bean kept on pinching, he suddenly felt that someone was looking at him from the back. Therefore, he stopped his movements and slowly turned his head.
