As she thought about this, she had a look at the floor above before placing down her bag to walk upstairs. Little Bean found it curious, so he followed her up too.
In the end, before they got any closer, Yan heard a strange sound. When she realized what it was, she immediately turned over to Little Bean and covered his ears, thereafter she dragged him downstairs.
Little Bean looked at her with an innocent face. “Aunt Yan?”
Yan composed herself and brought him over to the gifts. “Come. Let’s open these first. Then, we’ll go up.”
“Why?” Little Bean frowned as he looked at the kid’s toys in front of him. “I don’t even like these, and they aren’t ours. Why are we opening it?”
Listening to him, Yan giggled. “What makes you think they aren’t yours? They’re all placed here in our house, and you’re the only kid here. Are you expecting them to be for your mommy and me?”
“I guess so.” Little Bean nodded and thought of something else. “But who gave these to me?”
Who gave these to you? Yan remembered the sound she heard from upstairs and placed her hand on her forehead helplessly. These two people are terrifying. They knew that Little Bean and I would be back, yet they chose to make love upstairs. How awful is that? Aren’t they afraid of corrupting the kid?

“A daddy?” Little Bean stood still for a moment before suddenly turning away to go up the stairs. Yan’s expression changed drastically afterward. “Hey, where are you going?”
He stopped in his tracks while putting on an innocent face. “I’m going to find my daddy.”
“No!” Yan walked over and dragged him down the stairs. “We’ll open the gifts first. Then, we’ll find your daddy afterward.”
“But why? Are these gifts given to me by daddy? I need to ask for his permission before opening it.”
“Now is not the time.”
“But why, Aunt Yan?”

Yan’s face quickly turned pale. Later on, she got up hurriedly while ignoring the pain and forced herself out. “Sorry for interrupting!” After she said this, Yan closed the door shut for Ye Moxuan while avoiding his cold sight.
