Nothing To Give But My Heart Chapter 663

Ye Moxuan remained silent as his pitch black eyes stared deeply into hers. In his eyes, Han Muzi could feel her heart slowly sinking. She didn’t want to say it out, but he forced her to. I’ve said it now. He promised me that he wouldn’t get mad, but his eyes right now… It’s obvious that he doesn’t trust me.

Han Muzi felt annoyed inside, and she gave him a vicious glare before turning away to leave. However, after walking two steps, her wrist was again held back by Ye Moxuan. Her rage burst out. “Let me go!”

His imposing figure dashed toward her and pressed her against the door. “What? You had me waiting for you the whole day while you went out to see another man. Can’t I be jealous about that?”

Han Muzi replied to him loudly, “You’ve promised me just now that you wouldn’t be mad.” “Have I scolded you? Have I thrown my temper on you?” Ye Moxuan rebuked her coldly.

Han Muzi stayed silent afterward. All of a sudden, she froze in place as she glanced toward Ye Moxuan’s ice-cold face. She felt aggrieved while her previous rising guilt faded away at this moment. Now, what remained was… extreme grievance. She bit on her lower lip, and her eyes started to turn red.

A while later, she lowered her eyes and resigned. “Yes, you didn’t get angry at me, and you didn’t scold me. It was me who was unreasonable, alright? Now that we’re done, can I go in the house?”

Ye Moxuan was rendered speechless while he gazed at her drooping eyes. What was only lacking from her was a sign on her head which read ‘grievance’, and it made him feel very much resigned inside. In reality, he was the one being cast away to wait at the gate for her for such a long time like an idiot. After hearing that she was at the supermarket, he ordered people to move the gifts into her house first, then he went there to find her. At the end, he couldn’t find anyone, and she told him after that she actually went to the hospital. Not only that, she went there to see another man—the man who still had intentions toward her, no less.

He closed his eyes, and all of a sudden, he reached out to hug her violently with great force. “Ugh…” Before she could shove him away, she heard the grinding sound of Ye Moxuan’s teeth coming to her ear. “Just put all the blame on me, alright? I shouldn’t have made sarcastic comments to you; I shouldn’t have come early to wait for you; most of all, I shouldn’t have looked for you at the supermarket multiple times like an idiot after you said that you would come back. I was worried that something had happened to you again…”

She stopped her hand from pushing his chest while she froze on the spot with bulging red lips. She couldn’t find a word to say. “You… went to look for me at the supermarket?” He didn’t answer her. “But didn’t I ask you… to wait for me for a little while?”

“How can I rest assured?”

Han Muzi didn’t reply to him. Forget it. What am I doing arguing with him? Even though he was sarcastic toward her, it was still because he cared about her and was jealous. If he was emotionless, or even indifferent, toward what she just said, then that would really enrage her.

As she thought about it, Han Muzi said to him annoyingly, “Forget it. I’m too lazy to argue with you. Why were you waiting for me?”

“Gifts.” There was discontentment in the man’s voice.

“What gifts?” Han Muzi was confused since this man went to her doorstep waiting for her right after getting off work. What has he prepared for Little Bean?

“You’ll know it when we go in.” Ye Moxuan held her hand to the doorstep before pressing the familiar password.

Seeing this scene, Han Muzi couldn’t help but roll her eyes. “You went in again while I wasn’t at home?”

“I remembered the password, and I couldn’t forget it.”

Creak. The door opened, and Ye Moxuan dragged Han Muzi inside.

After going in, she was still sulky when she bent over to change her shoes at the entrance. However, after she raised her head while preparing to enter, she abruptly stopped her steps as she stared in awe at the scene in front of her.

What… is this? Have I entered the wrong place? Why are there so many toy cars and models piled up in front of me? The stacks of toys blurred her vision.

“What’s this?” She couldn’t recover from the shock as she was still stunned.

Ye Moxuan walked to her side while remaining silent.

Han Muzi stared at the stuff in front of her for a long while until she came back around and looked toward Ye Moxuan. “When you mentioned the gifts just now, you meant this?”

That was why he suddenly waited for me at my doorstep. It was to give Little Bean his gifts? But Little Bean… went out with Yan today.

“Yes.” His eyes darkened as he scanned the surrounding. “Where’s my son?” he asked.

Han Muzi pursed her lips and glared at him. “He hasn’t acknowledged you yet, so stop flattering yourself. Besides… he may not like all these, even though you’ve bought a lot.”

Listening to her, Ye Moxuan’s expression changed while he looked at her with his eyebrows raised. “He may not like this?” After asking her, he seemed to start panicking. “I’ve never met a child before, so… I don’t know what gifts he likes. You—”

“Forget it.” Han Muzi shook her head. “First, we need to place all of these gifts by the side. How could you just pile it all here after buying so much? I can’t even walk past it.”

He gazed at the pile of stuff before his eyes and realized that she was right. The whole living room was stuffed with gifts to a point where they couldn’t even go upstairs. He twitched his lips and said, “We’ll move away half of it and leave the other half as is.”

“Leave the other half as is?” Han Muzi widened her eyes. “What are we leaving the other half for?”

“These gifts were carefully prepared by me for my son. What would he get when he comes back if I move away all of it?”

Han Muzi went speechless. Hearing his intentions, does he plan to stay here for the night? Is it likely?

Han Muzi bit on her lower lip since she still wasn’t prepared for this. What will happen when the two identical people meet? Will Little Bean and Ye Moxuan be shocked on how identical they look? How will I explain to them later? It’s so frustrating!

While she was worried about the situation, Ye Moxuan had already called someone over to move the toys, and soon after, the workers came in to move the stuff. After half of it was moved away, the air of the surrounding was finally flowing again. Han Muzi felt that the air was better, then she had a look at the remaining toys and ordered the workers, “Move another half of it away. We’ll only keep a few of them.”

The workers followed Ye Moxuan’s orders, so after hearing Han Muzi’s instruction, they couldn’t help but look toward him to ask for his view.

Ye Moxuan had a look at her and realized that she was gazing at him while blinking her calm and beautiful eyes. These eyes… Ye Moxuan gulped before instructing them in a husky voice, “Do as she said.”

“Yes, Young Master Ye.” Subsequently, the workers moved away half of the remaining gifts while leaving only a few pieces.

“Are you sure this isn’t too few? What if my son isn’t impressed, and he disowns me?”

Han Muzi was left speechless before she comforted him, “Don’t worry. He won’t disown you.”
