She held back and did not say another word. Shortly after they sat down, a waitress approached them with the menu. When the young girl saw Ye Moxuan, her eyes sparkled.
“H-Hello. What would you like to have?” Nervous and ecstatic at the same time, she placed the menu right in front of him and looked at him with a bright red face.
She had completely overlooked Han Muzi who sat across from him. However, Han Muzi glanced at the young girl and did not react in any way.
Ye Moxuan, meanwhile, pushed the menu in front of her and asked gently, “What do you want to eat?”
Only then did the young girl notice there was someone across from him and quickly looked in Han Muzi’s direction. Her sudden gaze made Han Muzi feel slightly awkward. Her lips twitched and she said, “Anything is fine.”
When Ye Moxuan saw that she was disinterested, he did not ask any further. He ordered two portions of beef ribs and some red wine, then gathered the menus and handed it back to the waitress.
The young girl retrieved the menus then glanced at him bashfully before she walked back happily with the menus tucked in her arms.
Han Muzi watched the young girl from behind, then turned to look at Ye Moxuan who was sitting, relaxed and composed, in front of her, before blurting out, “I guess you still have your charms.”
He paused briefly then raised his eyebrows, as though a thought had struck him.
“Jealous?”
She was speechless.
She ignored him and looked elsewhere without saying anything. He felt compelled to lean forward and said in a low voice, “Don’t worry. You’re the only one in my heart.”
Upon hearing that, she glared at him and caught a glimpse of the mischievous smile on his face.

“Ahhh, I have something to tell you guys. A handsome man with extremely unrivaled looks just stepped into our restaurant. He looked at me once and I thought I was going to be intoxicated in his eyes. I don’t think I’ve even seen anyone as handsome as him on television before.”
The young girl was called Su Qin. As she walked back with the menus in her arms to where her colleagues were, she could not help but tell tattle to them.
Shen Yiyi looked at her with a strange expression. “Is he that handsome? To get you so carried away like this.”
Su Qin nodded her head with force. “It’s true. He’s exceptionally handsome! Not the ordinary kind of handsome, but the kind with intense charms and overflowing testosterones with every move he makes.”
“Based on what you’re saying, he does sound attractive. How about… I bring out the food in your place later?”
Su Qin saw Shen Yiyi’s blushed cheeks. They were best friends and Su Qin was still a young girl at heart. She thought about it then nodded in agreement. “Sure, you can go on behalf of me. But you have to tell me what you think when you come back later.”
“No problem.” Shen Yiyi patted her chest in affirmation.
Then, their order was sent to the chef. As the beef ribs were ready, Shen Yiyi headed to the front and prepared to serve them out when she was suddenly knocked over by someone.
With a thud, Shen Yiyi fell on the ground and cried out in pain. She was unable to process what had just happened.
“Yiyi!” Su Qin saw what had happened from the side and frantically went over to help her up. “Are you okay?”
Both of them looked up and saw that the person who had knocked Shen Yiyi down was Meng Xueyou.
“Meng Xueyou, what do you think you’re doing?” Shen Yiyi screamed at her in anger.
However, the expression on Su Qin’s face changed when she saw Meng Xueyou. She immediately bit down on her bottom lip, too afraid to speak.
“What am I doing?” Meng Xueyou was scornful and cackled. “Don’t you know the rules? Since when was this in your jurisdiction? I’ll serve these beef ribs instead.”
She wanted to see for herself who that handsome man was. If he was a second-generation rich, then she could change her goal.
At least she would not have to stay in the restaurant all day and get bullied. Just the thought of what had happened to her two days ago filled her with anger.
“How… how can you do this? Su Qin was the one who took their order. Even if I don’t serve them, it’s not up to you to serve them either,” Shen Yiyi said furiously.

“Not happy?” Meng Xueyou lifted her jaw up arrogantly. “Go to the manager and report that I just kicked you, then. Let’s see if you can still keep your job after that.”
As she finished speaking, she turned around proudly and walked out with the plates in her hands.
Shen Yiyi raged with anger and desperately wanted to go after her but was still pinned down by Su Qin.
“Don’t go, Yiyi. You will lose your job. It’s not easy for us to find jobs to start with. If you get fired, what will you do about your rent?”
“Let me go. Just because jobs are hard to find, it doesn’t mean she can treat me this way! I will get even with her today no matter what.”

Even though everyone had worn uniforms, hers was altered significantly to be extremely seductive—low cut, short skirt, black stockings and high heels.
In her mind, she had only thought of making an unforgettable impression when she would meet the handsome man.
She quickly neared table number 8, but her eyes narrowed when she caught a glimpse of the man’s broad and sturdy figure.
