The receptionist had never seen this kind of look in someone’s eyes.
There was a smile on her face, but there wasn’t any warmth in her eyes. There was only a deep, icy-cold stare. No, it can’t be described that way. It should be described as soulless. That’s right. It was a death stare with no vital signs.

When Jiang Wenwen saw Xu Yanwan turned up for work, she welcomed her with open arms and asked about her condition. After that, she let Xu Yanwan return to her working position without saying anything about Han Qing.

Xu Yanwan was surprised after she heard the news. “A transfer? To another department?”
Jiang Wenwen sighed. “It seems like a job transfer, but they’re actually promoting you. Things are way more relaxed there. Given your body condition, I believe you will feel more comfortable there.”
Xu Yanwan didn’t give any response.
“Yanwan, you should pack your things and report to this department later in the afternoon.”
Xu Yanwan, who kept quiet all the time, stood up and walked out while pursing her juicy pink lips, so Jiang Wenwen asked, “Where are you going?”

“Then please let Han Qing know that I refuse to be transferred like that.”
“But the order had been handed out. Those respective departments will make adjustments based on the order, so I am afraid that nothing can be changed.”

“Come in.”
