Han Muzi helplessly watched Yan bragging, then she whispered, “That’s enough from you. Did you forget why I arranged for this trip?”
Yan abruptly remembered that Han Muzi had booked the trip even though the couple had no intention of going on vacation—it was a ploy by Han Muzi to give her a push from the shadows. She hastily looked over her shoulder and saw Han Qing standing on the balcony far away. Then, she breathed a sigh of relief. “Don’t just talk as you please! What if your brother heard it?”
Looking at the soft expression on her face, Han Muzi tilted her head to the side. “Is there no progress?”
“What progress?!” she exclaimed.
“You know what progress I’m talking about!”
“Don’t talk nonsense! I’m very virtuous! I won’t mess around!”
Hearing those words, Han Muzi smiled slightly. “You’ve denied it twice; you don’t seem to be such an innocent person after all. Besides, you seem like you would enjoy messing around.”
“Bah! I won’t! Don’t twist my words around! Enough; stop talking nonsense. What if your brother hears…” Yan glanced around at her surroundings, then decided it was safer for her to hide inside the bathroom. Otherwise, Han Qing might enter the room while Han Muzi was teasing her. Thus, she ducked into the bathroom to hide and told Han Muzi everything about the incident with Lin Qin’er.
“Lin Qin’er?” Han Muzi repeated the name, frowning. After a moment, she laughed softly. “Although it’s quite bad of me to say this, this name doesn’t sound right. It feels like it might be a fake name.”
“A fake name?” Yan frowned too. “It shouldn’t be a fake name. However, after witnessing her behavior, it feels like her personality and her name are equally pretentious. She was clearly out to get me, but she pretended to be innocent and ignorant. Tell me; how can she be so shameless?”
Han Muzi wanted to laugh at those words. “From what you said, she is rather shameless. Based on the situation, she was trying to benefit from getting closer to my brother, but she failed. In the future, if she is still as shameless as she was, then you don’t need to hold back; just rip her to shreds.”
Yan’s eyes lit up slightly. “Rip her apart? Will you support me?”
“Why won’t I support you?”
