After he left, the room had calmed down. Shen Qi was angered by his words, so her chest heaved furiously. It was impossible to ask a maid to help her move the small bed back, but since he thought that sleeping with her was humiliation, she would not throw away her pride to stick around him.

Shen Qi went out to ask the maid for two more blankets. As the floor was already very clean, she directly spread the blankets on the ground and moved her pillows and other stuff back.
All of a sudden, two of the four-piece bedding on the bed went missing, leaving only the blue sheets and a blue pillow; it looked empty and strangely deserted.
Shen Qi went to take a shower after she had settled herself down. After that, she fell asleep immediately.
Halfway through her sleep, she suddenly felt as if someone was pulling her blanket.

Shen Qi opened her eyes swiftly and found herself staring into a pair of cold and deep eyes.

Shen Qi calmed down for a while before sitting up and tightening the blanket in her hand. “I’m sleeping just fine here. You’ve taken my blanket away from me, yet you asked me about that?”
Ye Moxuan snorted lightly. “Oh, is the blanket yours now?”
Shen Qi was speechless at his interrogation.
Fine, I admit I took it from Ye Moxuan’s bed.
“Why don’t you use your old blanket?” Shen Qi asked. “You asked the maids to clean up my previous stuff, so this blanket should be mine anyway.”
She was too tired at this moment. She had become increasingly lethargic since she became pregnant. After telling Ye Moxuan that, Shen Qi didn’t bother to reason with him anymore. She then pulled the blanket to her and said, “Your previous blanket is in the cabinet. Please take it yourself. I’m going to sleep now.”
After speaking, Shen Qi lay back onto the floor and put the blanket back on herself.
Shen Qi didn’t pay attention to what Ye Moxuan’s expression was. She only knew that she fell asleep again not long after lying down.
In the middle of the night, Shen Qi suddenly felt quite warm, as if there was something warm on her back that was emitting a steady stream of heat, continuously transferring heat to her skin through her thin pajamas.
Shen Qi’s body temperature gradually rose. Hence, she frowned and couldn’t help kicking the blanket.
Finally, she felt more comfortable.
A minute later, the blanket returned to her body.
Shen Qi continued to kick it away. However, within a few seconds, the blanket covered her again.
It was simply too warm for her. When she was asleep, she was like a wilful child, so she tossed around and felt the heat in her back disappear, but the temperature in front of her rose.
Shen Qi opened her eyes in a daze and met a pair of icy, lazy eyes—just like that, she looked into Ye Moxuan’s dark eyes without warning.
His eyes were captivating and beautiful, as if there were brilliant stars in them.
Shen Qi stared blankly at him for a long time. She blinked and couldn’t help stretching out her hand to touch Ye Moxuan’s face. When her fingertips were about to touch him, sleepiness swept through her again as she closed her eyes, and she almost fell back to sleep.
Along with the sleepiness, there was also a warm breath in front of her before she felt something soft touching her lips.
