Yan never intended to answer those questions, but the crowd of people continued to pressure her about it. Almost everyone had asked her about work the first time they met. She was aware that there was no malice as they were merely gossiping and being curious. However, as the questions started to pile up, she felt like she was about to explode. Therefore, she simply took a small piece of cake and hid in a corner. As she quietly ate the strawberry on the cake, she suddenly spotted a familiar figure.
That figure wore a glamorous dress that complimented her fine, slender yet exquisite body. There were even a few people surrounding her as though she was a popular public person. Yan knew the person. This person was Lin Xinghuo, a loyal client of Han Muzi’s company.
Why is she here? Yan was a bit confused. Back then, Lin Xinghuo became Han Muzi’s fan after falling in love with the latter’s designs. As such, Lin Xinghuo signed a long-term collaboration contract immediately with the company, but lacked the courage to text Han Muzi daily—even on the day of the wedding. She was afraid of reaching out to Han Muzi directly after knowing about the accident. Therefore, she took the long route by asking people in the company about Han Muzi’s situation. At that time, Lin Xinghuo had also asked Yan, who replied straight away, “If you want to know about it badly, why not ask her directly?”
After that, Lin Xinghuo sent Yan a text along with a few crying emojis. ‘I really want to ask her, but they have not found the person yet, so I’m afraid of making her sad. I am very worried about her, so I can only ask you all. I do not mean anything else. Please do not blame me.’
Finally, after understanding what Lin Xinghuo meant, Yan replied that Han Muzi was fine and that the former should no longer worry.

Lin Xinghuo looked surprised. “I see. How is my idol? Is she much better now? I heard from the people in the company that she returned with Young Master Ye some time ago, right?”
“Yes.” Yan nodded. “Everything is fine. You donʼt need to worry about her.”
“Phew.” Lin Xinghuo let out a sigh of relief. “That is great.” Then, she suddenly saw the cake that Yan and thought it looked delicious before asking where the latter got it from.
“Do you want one? I want to get another piece. I will try to get a slice for you too.”
Lin Xinghuo thanked Yan with both hands. “That would be great! Thanks.”
Later on, Yan returned with two cake slices. Immediately, Lin Xinghuo revealed the joy on her face as she received the cake from Yan. After having a bite, Lin Xinghuo exclaimed, “This is so tasty! I have not eaten a cake in a long time.”
“Why is that?” Yan was curious.
“It is hard to be a star. You need to control your diet and your body strictly. If I gain a slight bit of weight, my fans will hate me.”
Yan was rendered speechless. Her fans will hate her just because she gained a bit of weight? What kind of fans are those?
