“This joke is not funny at all.”
Melvin Winson, with one hand in his trouser pocket and the other holding a cigarette, suddenly emitted an aura that screamed “stay away from me,” completely different from the casual and natural “Melvin Winson’ just moments ago.
He uttered a few words and walked away. Eviette Robins sensed his anger and quickly caught up with him in a few steps. “It was just a joke, why did you take it seriously?”

He raised his hand and flicked the cigarette butt between his fingers into a trash can several meters away, scoring a precise “goal.” He said coldly, “Eviette, I am disappointed by what you just said.”
Eviette Robins rarely saw Melvin Winson angry. As he turned to leave, she clenched the script in her hand, unsure of what to say. She thought that if she had met Melvin Winson first, she would have fallen in love with him. Who could resist someone so cold and king- like, intelligent and wise, and who doted on her to the core?
But she never expected that Melvin Winson’s first anger towards her would be because of Veronica Murphy. For a moment, her dislike for Veronica Murphy grew even stronger.
Eviette Robins didn’t have time to find him again, so she headed towards Blue Star Lake. At that moment, Mia Stuart walked over. “Miss Robins, here, I brought you a cup of coffee to warm you up.”
It had been over half a month, and the wound on Mia Stuart’s arm had already healed. As long as she didn’t make any big movements, it wouldn’t hurt anymore.
She handed the coffee to Eviette Robins with a flattering smile. “Miss Robins, you are perfect for period dramas. You look so beautiful.”

“Yeah. She’s great, she even does the winter water scenes herself. She really works hard,” Eviette Robins said to Mia Stuart with a sincere and kind face.

Mia Stuart nodded, a glimmer of light flashing in her eyes.
“Let’s go, the director is waiting over there,” Eviette Robins said.
Although the upcoming scene was a water scene for Eviette Robins and Veronica Murphy, Mia Stuart also had a role, but she would be on the shore and wouldn’t have to go in the water.
Meanwhile, Veronica Murphy grabbed a down jacket from the lounge and took Ben, the actor, to Blue Star Lake.
At Blue Star Lake, the props team had already set up the scene. Veronica Murphy immediately spotted Eviette Robins’ stunt double from the crowd, the Young Lady who was practicing martial arts moves with the fight choreographer.
Standing by the artificial lake, the biting cold wind mercilessly blew against her face, causing a faint stinging sensation on her cheeks.
Looking at the frozen surface of the lake, Veronica Murphy let out a sigh, and the warm breath she exhaled was instantly dispersed by the wind.
“Veronica Murphy, Mia and Eviette are here. You go and rehearse the scene with them,” Sam Symons pointed to Eviette Robins and Mia Stuart who were approaching, and said to her.
“Okay.” She nodded, turned around, and waved at Eviette Robins who was walking towards her, “Miss Robins, Sam Symons wants to rehearse the scene.”
