An Understated Dominance Chapter 2155 by Marina Vittori

Predator had reached the late-stage grandmaster. So, his strength was comparable to that of the guildmasters of major guilds in Dragonmarsh.

With a single swing of his sword, the power and destructive force were so terrifying that it sent shivers down the spines of Dalen and the others.

Their greatest concern was the possibility that Dustin might not be able to withstand Predator’s onslaught and end up being killed.

Seeing the giant sword aura descending toward him, Dustin acted without hesitation. He swiftly raised his hand and countered with an upward strike.

A thick white sword aura appeared, clashing with the red sword aura.

Dustin’s white sword aura spanned a mere three feet, dwarfed by the Predator’s red sword aura, which stretched over 30 feet.

The odds seemed overwhelmingly against him, like an ant challenging an elephant. However, Dustin’s white sword aura effortlessly shattered the Predator’s red sword aura upon collision.

A deafening blast followed as the white sword aura pierced through the red one like a bullet. Continuing its trajectory, it aimed directly at the airborne Predator.

“What?” Predator’s expression paled, and he immediately raised his giant sword to block.

The collision between the white sword aura and the giant sword ignited a shower of sparks. The powerful impact sent Predator hurtling toward the ground. His body crashed with a resounding thud.

Upon impact, his feet struck the ground, creating a deep crater. Spiderweb cracks radiated from the center of the pit, extending across the ground in a 30-foot radius.

“Holy crap!” Miles exclaimed. “Dustin blocked the attack?” He couldn’t help but be amazed by the sight.

When Predator’s giant sword descended, it seemed like a mountain was crashing down on Dustin. Miles thought that Dustin would be crushed like a bug.

However, to his astonishment, Dustin effortlessly deflected the attack with a simple sword move.

“Dustin didn’t block it. But he knocked the opponent back!” Dalen exclaimed with a mix of surprise and delight.

He continued, “Though his strike wasn’t very powerful, it was incredibly precise and solid. By prioritizing precision over force, he deflected the attack. That catches the other man off guard and knocks him back!”

Dustin’s consistent ability to defy expectations was remarkable. Whenever danger arose, he adeptly turned the tables and regained control of the situation.

He was truly skilled at hiding his true abilities.

“Move aside!”

Dustin didn’t pursue further confrontation after knocking Predator back with his sword strike. Instead, he raised his sword and charged into the crowd to deal with the black-clad assassins.

He knew that dragging the battle would only raise the death toll on their side.

“Bring it on!”

Two of the black-clad assassins saw Dustin charging toward them. They wasted no time and lunged at him. With their swords drawn, one attacked from the left and the other from the right.

Their movements were swift as lightning, and their strikes were lethal. The surrounding martial artists could barely track their actions. All they witnessed was a blur as the two aşsassins swiftly passed by.

Dustin didn’t evade and confronted the assault head-on. He raised his sword to counter their attacks.

With a clang, the assassins’ swords snapped in two, stunning them. “Huh?”

Before they could react, Dustin had already sliced through their necks with his second strike.  As the sword flashed past, both assassins stiffened and remained motionless. In the next moment, their heads rolled off their shoulders, and blood splattered everywhere.

“How dare you kill my men? I’ll make you regret ever meeting me!” Predator roared furiously as he witnessed his two top assassins being slaughtered.

With a thunderous stomp, he charged at Dustin like a cannonball. With every step, deep imprints were left on the ground. His explosive power was truly astounding.

“Go to hell!”

As Predator closed in, he tightened his grip on the giant sword and swung it downward at Dustin.

The strike was imbued with a controlled sword aura, concealing its intensity while still carrying impressive sharpness and weight.

The air warped as the blade sliced through, and the ground trembled under its force.

However, Dustin remained unfazed by Predator’s attack. Without even glancing in his direction, Dustin effortlessly swept his sword backward.

The collision of the two blades sent sparks flying, accompanied by a sudden burst of energy that swept outward like a raging storm.

Dustin stood firm despite his robes billowing and hair standing on end.

In contrast, Predator grunted as each impact pushed his burly frame backward. His hands trembled uncontrollably as he struggled to maintain his grip on the sword.

“How is this even possible?” Predator’s eyes widened in disbelief.

Dustin gained the upper hand in the initial clash with his superior skill and technique, defeating Predator’s sword aura. However, as the battle progressed, it evolved into a test of skill and strength.

Predator possessed Divine Strength and used a giant sword with exceptional ferocity. His prowess was unmatched, particularly in head-on confrontations where he seemed unrivaled.

He was confident that a single swing of his sword would kill Dustin. Yet, he was taken aback when Dustin effortlessly pushed him back several feet with a single strike.

This undeniable show of strength demonstrated that Dustin’s power surpassed Predator’s.

“Go to hell!”

After knocking the Predator back with one strike, Dustin wasted no time. He swiftly attacked the assassins in the crowd.

With two swift slashes, two black-clad assassins couldn’t react before Dustin’s sword aura tore them apart.

“Ah! I’ll fucking kill you!” Predator roared furiously as he witnessed his subordinates being cut down. Disregarding everything else, he grabbed his giant sword and swung it recklessly.

The sword, over six feet in length, sliced through the air with each ferocious swing and stirred up powerful gusts of wind.

It whipped debris into the air, sending sand and stones flying within 30 feet and momentarily halting Dustin’s advance.

“Tempest Sword Rage!” Predator roared as he launched into a spinning frenzy with his giant sword.

Sword shadows materialized around him, seemingly conjured from thin air. With each rotation, he picked up speed and ferocity, resembling a spinning top.

Soon, his sword transformed into a swirling vortex of wind and blades. The storm, composed of razor-sharp sword aura, initially towered over 30 feet tall, began to expand.

Wherever it swept through, devastation followed. Even the ground was scarred deeply, leaving behind a trail of destruction.

“What… What the heck is that?”

“Quick! Get out of the way, and don’t go near it!”

Seeing the terrifying tornado, everyone scattered in fear.

Unfortunately, one martial artist failed to dodge in time and was pulled into the vortex.

In an instant, the swirling sword aura surrounding him shredded his body like a meat grinder. All that remained was blood and flesh strewn across the ground.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
