An Understated Dominance Chapter 2144 by Marina Vittori

Krel wasn’t confident he’d win against Dustin in a head-on confrontation.

However, if Dustin were severely injured by attempting to lift the 100- thousand-pound cauldron, it would turn the situation around completely.

He would easily win this gamble and finally vent his pent-up resentment.

“Hey, punk! Weren’t you going to make me enjoy a feast? Why are you just standing there? Come on! Show some guts, and try lifting it!” Jimmy began taunting Dustin after noticing his inaction.

He thought that Dustin was panicking, unsure of how to proceed in the face of the massive object.

“There’s no need to rush. I’m just considering where you should start from.” Dustin assessed the massive cauldron from top to bottom.

“Hmph! You’re all talk!” Jimmy sneered in disdain. “If you really have the skills, stop babbling and let your strength do the talking. As long as you can lift the cauldron, I’ll devour it clean in front of everyone!”

“You must be really hungry.”

Dustin shook his head with a smile. ” Alright, since you want to eat it that badly, I’ll grant your wish.”

With that, Dustin grabbed the bottom of the cauldron and lifted it forcefully.

A thunderous rumble echoed through the air, and even the ground shook as clouds of dust billowed from the massive cauldron.

The crowd looked on in disbelief as the cauldron began to rise slowly.

“It’s moving! The massive cauldron is moving!”

“What the hell? No way! Can he really lift it up?”

“Oh my goodness! This guy has Divine Strength!”

The crowd broke into a frenzy as they watched the cauldron gradually rise into the air, staring wide-eyed and in utter shock.

Nobody expected Dustin to be capable of lifting the massive cauldron since it had remained on the ground until now.

“Wait! Are my eyes playing tricks on me? H-He actually lifted it up with just one hand?”

“What? With just one hand?”

“Oh my God! Is he even human?”

“A monster! He’s an absolute monster!

When the crowd noticed that Dustin had lifted the cauldron up with only one hand, their excitement reached a fever pitch.

Their expressions reflected sheer astonishment, as if they were witnessing a monster.

Lifting a 100-thousand-pound cauldron was beyond the capabilities of anyone below the level of a grandmaster. Yet, Dustin not only lifted the cauldron, but he did so with just one hand.

How else could they describe him, if not a monster?

“H-How is this possible? He actually lifted it up?” Jimmy was frozen in disbelief and felt goosebumps rising on his skin. He never expected Dustin to possess such extraordinary strength.

That cauldron weighed 100 thousand pounds, for heaven’s sake! It was an achievement no one had managed to pull off before.

However, Dustin did the impossible. He even made it look easy.

Was he even human? 2

“No… That’s impossible! Absolutely impossible!” Jimmy shook his head frantically in disbelief. “This must be an illusion! He couldn’t possibly lift a 100-thousand-pound gigantic cauldron.”

Jimmy broke down completely. Initially, he still held on to hope, thinking Dustin was merely overconfident and exaggerating his words.

It wasn’t until now that he realized he had been terribly wrong.

Lifting a 100-thousand-pound cauldron was an impossible feat.

However, Dustin not only lifted it, but he did so with just one hand.

Jimmy couldn’t wrap his head around – the situation. It was so far beyond his expectations that his mind went black, and despair washed over him.

He knew deep down that he had been utterly defeated by a monster.

Jimmy’s legs gave way, and he collapsed to the ground, his face ashen. After witnessing Dustin’s unparalleled might, all thoughts of resistance drained from him.

“Up!” Still holding the cauldron in one hand, Dustin lifted it up effortlessly above his head. The 100-thousand- pound heavy cauldron appeared as light as a feather in his hands.

“This is incredible! Absolutely incredible!”

“Even a grandmaster wouldn’t be able to make it look that easy!”

“I dare say that the strong contenders on the Legendary List have serious competition!”

The crowd of martial artists could feel their hearts race as they looked up at Dustin with the cauldron above his head.

Even Dalen and his group were stunned by Dustin’s display of strength.

Even though they knew Dustin was strong and could lift the 100-thousand- pound cauldron, they didn’t expect it to be that easy for him.

It was truly astonishing to them that Dustin could lift it with just one hand.

“Hey, you there!”

With the cauldron still in one hand, Dustin looked at Jimmy and teased, ” I’ve lifted it. You seem pretty hungry.

It’s all yours now. Eat it!”

“Eat it?”

Jimmy froze, his face turning a deep shade of crimson instantly.

How could anyone possibly eat a 100- thousand-pound bronze cauldron that resembled a small mountain?

The problem was, he had said those words himself, and in front of everyone, no less. With the situation unfolding as it did, it felt like a slap to his face.

It was humiliating! As an elite disciple of Boulderthorn, he had never experienced such disgrace.

“What’s wrong? Do you want me to feed you?” Dustin chuckled.

“Men should keep their promises. You said it yourself. Surely, you wouldn’t go back on your word?” Dalen smirked.

“That’s right! We all heard you clearly. As long as Dustin lifts the cauldron, you’ll devour it clean. Now, it’s time for your performance!” Miles said loudly.

“Eat it! Eat it!” Ruby began shouting, fanning the flames.

“Eat it! Eat it!” The rest of the crowd joined in as they pumped their fists in the air.

Right then, Jimmy had become the target of everyone’s criticism.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
