An Understated Dominance Chapter 1745 by Marina Vittori

“You?”

Dustin was surprised to hear that as he looked Grace up and down.

He said, “Your Highness, you’re a very cherished princess. You mustn’t put yourself at risk, and I can’t involve you in this.”

“What? You don’t think I can do it?”

Grace smiled and waved her hand. Suddenly, a sharp and white light shot out the window. It destroyed the artificial mountain in the garden.

There was a loud explosion. The artificial mountain was blown to ashes.

“The internal energy of a grandmaster?

Dustin’s pupil constricted.

“You’re actually a grandmaster martial artist?”

Female grandmasters were very rare. It was hard for women to undergo the training to become a grandmaster due to their bodily limitations.

Dustin really had no idea that Grace was actually a grandmaster because she looked so fragile. The most important point was that he had failed to realize this despite spending so much time with her, even with all his experience. He thought that this woman was very good at hiding her talents. 2

“I may not be as strong as you are, but I’m not that bad. I can absolutely help you shoulder some problems.”

Grace smiled lightly.

“If you were a man, you’d definitely be the heir to the throne!” Dustin praised her sincerely.

It should be made known that the people from Regal Observatory were not good at martial arts. They mainly studied divinatory practices. If Grace was a grandmaster martial artist, she must be a real whiz when it came to the divinatory practices. He already had a vague idea when she gave him the revival talisman.

“Stop joking around. I’ll only help you on one condition.”

Grace changed the topic.

“What would that be?” Dustin asked.

“It’s very simple. You have to help me find Dracan Essence.”

Grace cut straight to the point.

“Of course, I would play it fair when we find it. We’ll split it evenly.”

“You’re not going to be king anyway. Why are you looking for the Dracan Essence?”

Dustin was a little curious.

“Everyone’s responsible for the rise and fall of their country,” Grace replied frankly.

“Sure, you’ve helped me so many times. I must repay you. When West Lucozia is at peace again, I’ll help you find Dracan Essence.”

Dustin finally agreed. Grace had helped him so much. She even saved his life once. He must repay her, one way or another.

“Alright! We have a deal then!”

Grace smiled.

“Your Highness, I must leave for West Lucozia as soon as possible. Could you please help me arrange it?” Dustin asked.

“No problem, leave it to me,” Grace replied as she turned to leave.

There was a private jet taking off from Oakvale the next morning. It was headed toward West Lucozia. Dustin looked at the clouds from his window on the plane. At this moment, the sun was just rising. It was a beautiful sight to behold. The sun’s fiery red rays illuminated the layers of cloud, and the whole sky had a reddish glow.

“Dustin Rhys …”

Grace suddenly walked over with some documents in her hands and sat next to him.

She said, “The Zenith Society just announced some new changes to three of their lists. It’s quite interesting. Would you like to take a look at it?”

“List? What list?”

Dustin turned to look at her.

“The lists that were renewed this time were the Divine Weapon List, the Legendary List, and the Astonishing World List. I’ll start with the first list they published, the Divine Weapon List.

“First on the Divine Weapon List is the Celestial Slay which belongs to Arion Foyer.

“Second on the list, the Dragon Sparrow Sword which belongs to Dustin Rhys.

“Third on the list, the Inferno Fury Spear which belongs to Reagan Judd.”

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
