An Understated Dominance Chapter 1669 by Marina Vittori

Dustin’s heart dropped when he saw the man smiling innocently in front of him.

Nestor was already difficult to deal with. He didn’t expect Cesar to pop up.

After all, Cesar had been in command of the Martial Artist Union for many years. Not only was he extremely skilled, but he was ruthless.

All unions needed to listen to Cesar’s command. The Martial Artist Union would oppress those who didn’t. In severe cases, their unions might even be eliminated.

“It looks like you still remember me. What an honor.” Cesar had a fake smile on his face.

“I didn’t expect the Head of Martial Arts Union to come over. It looks like Dragon Guard wants to kill me desperately!” Dustin started to gather his energy slowly.

Dustin had only just become an ultimate grandmaster. Thus, he wasn’t confident about going against experienced ultimate grandmasters like Cesar.

Now, he could only fight back with all his might.

“You shouldn’t have come to Oakvale alone. Without the protection of the three great generals of the Rhys family, you’re just waiting to be slaughtered,” Cesar said with a smile.

“I’m not that easy to kill.”

With a wave of his hand, Dustin summoned Celestial Blade. It flew several feet and landed steadily in his hand.

“Resisting is just futile for you. You should preserve your dignity. If you end your life right now, you can suffer a bit less,” Cesar sneered.

“Stop spouting nonsense! You have to go through me first if you wanna kill him!”

Abigail suddenly stepped forward. Black energy oozed out, and a phantom of a black phoenix was formed, hovering above her.

The black phoenix was vivid and majestic, exuding a formidable aura. A black flame would emerge between its flapping wings. It looked particularly terrifying.

“What?” When Cesar saw that, he furrowed his eyebrows in shock. “I didn’t expect you to have a cultivation level of ultimate grandmaster. I didn’t know that Dragonmarsh has such a genius like you.”

“Cut the crap!” Abigail glared at him.

“However “Cesar seemed to realize something.

“Your cultivation level is unstable. I don’t think you achieved this level by cultivating. It seems like you have inherited it.

“You have the Phoenix bloodline and are skilled in voodoo skills. If I’m not wrong, you’re the Mystic Arts Order’s Grand Sorceress.”

“So what?” Abigail didn’t deny it even when her identity was exposed. She decided to admit it instead. ” Asshole! Dustin is my master. If anything happens to him, I’ll kill everyone in Oakvale!”

After hearing that, Cesar laughed again. “Kid, it seems like you don’t understand what’s going on. Dustin is considered a traitor to the nation.

“If you dare to help him, you’ll be going against the entire Dragonmarsh. Can you bear the consequences of that?”

“I don’t care what the consequences are! I’ll kill anyone along with their family if they dare to hurt my master!” Abigail shouted.

Cesar shook his head. “How stubborn! It seems like I would need to teach Mystic Arts Order a lesson. That way, you guys will know who the leader of Dragonmarsh is.”

“Do you think I’m scared of you?”

Abigail was unfazed by his threats. The Mystic Arts Order’s headquarters were located in a forest. It was filled with dangers, making it easy for them to defend when their enemies attacked.

Regardless of how big of an army they brought, it was a one-way ticket for anyone who dared to intrude into Mystic Arts Order’s territory.

“Mr. Fent, you came just in time.” At this moment, Nestor walked out of the white mist. Then, he appeared behind Dustin and Abigail and chirped, “These two were extremely cunning and almost got away.

“Why don’t we join forces and eliminate the threat as soon as possible to avoid future trouble? What do you think?”

“Mr. Wilkins, you’re the unrivaled master within the palace gates. Can’t you even handle two kids like them?” Nestor had a half-smile.

“That’s just a title. I’m nothing compared to you. Plus, the most important task today is to complete the mission. We can’t afford anything to happen,” Nestor said humbly.

“Since you said that, you should make the first move. I’ll stand by and cover for you.” However, Cesar was unmoved.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
