An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori Chapter 1199

When the dust settled, the audience of martial artists felt a cold shiver run down their backs. They were terrified.

The aftermath of that previous collision was terrifying. Had they not been prepared and failed to dodge, they would have been seriously injured. Even with their precautions, the destructive force left them with a lingering unease.

“Not bad. You’ve improved since our encounter in the Black Forest,” Ronald said as he placed one hand behind his back. With a faint smile playing on his lips, he looked convinced of his victory. Unfortunately, you’re still going to die today.”

“Ronald, don’t hold back and just bring it on. Otherwise, you won’t have another chance.” Dustin straightened his posture, his gaze as cold as ever.

The attack earlier had allowed Dustin to see through Ronald’s limits. As expected, it appeared as if Ronald was on the verge of turning into an ultimate grandmaster.

Fortunately, due to time constraints, he hadn’t fully broken through yet. Otherwise, it would have been much harder to deal with him.

“Hmph! You really won’t learn your lesson till you die!” Ronald narrowed his eyes slightly. As his energy surged once more, his clothes billowed and rustled.

“Didn’t you wish to witness my true strength? Very well, I’ll make sure you die with no regrets!” With that, his body trembled.

He let out a sudden burst of golden light, creating a protective aura around his body. The golden radiance draped over him like a suit of armor. It intensified his already formidable presence.

He appeared like a God descending among mortals. Ronald exuded an air of contempt and superiority upon all beings. And the martial artists found it hard to breathe as the pressure grew stronger.

Many of them were unable to withstand the weight of the atmosphere. They were forced to retreat to a safer distance to watch the battle.

“Very good! Sir Reeds is finally showing his true power!” A sinister smile played on Theodore’s lips as he watched the unfolding scene.

“I’ve long heard of Sir Reed’s formidable Infinity Aura Technique. I finally have the opportunity to witness it for myself today.” Woody was suddenly in high spirits.

“Hahaha… To die under Sir Reeds’s ultimate technique, this brat can take pride in his demise.” Quincey’s gaze turned icy.

“For Sir Reeds to employ his Infinity Aura Technique, Dustin is in real danger now.” Emery frowned, his expression solemn.

The Infinity Aura Technique was a legendary martial arts technique. Those who practiced it were nearly invincible, as both weapons and the elements couldn’t harm them. They seemed to be possessed by Gods or demons, making them unstoppable. Nobody on the same level could match them!

However, the requirements needed to train in it were harsh. In the past century, no one besides Ronald had managed to successfully master it.

During the duel for the martial arts alliance leader position years ago, Emery was defeated precisely because Ronald had used the Infinity Aura Technique in the final battle.

Most importantly, compared to the past, Ronald had now mastered this ultimate technique to its peak. Its power had increased by more than a hundredfold!

“Sir Reeds’ Infinity Aura Technique is an undefeated legend of the martial arts. Dustin is in deep trouble!” Lance chuckled, happy at his misfortune.

“Please, hang in there!” Josie gripped her clothes tightly, torn between nervousness and concern.

“It’s over … Sir Reeds is not holding back any longer. Dustin is in danger!” Lyn let out a long sigh, feeling sorry for him.

“This brat is too foolish. I would have escaped long ago if it were me. He’s still standing there like a fool. Is he waiting to be killed?” Toddy shook his head. It was as if he was looking at a complete idiot.

Whispers and murmurs were heard among the audience below. Meanwhile, a murderous tension hung heavy on the stage above. When Ronald unleashed his ultimate technique, his presence had reached its peak.

Ronald might have been seen only as a powerful figure in the eyes of the martial artists, but he was now seen as an invincible God!

“Dustin, I admire your courage. That is why, from now on, I will give it all I have.” Ronald suddenly took a deep breath. He madly devoured the surrounding spiritual energy.

The next moment, a golden light spread around him and gradually converged. It eventually formed a golden sword. Ronald gripped the sword in his hand. With a gentle tap of his foot, he leaped into the air.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
