An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori Chapter 1168

Kirin Gang wasted no time and sprang right into action as they cleaned up the mess. Without Ray as their leader, the Grant family fighters were nothing against the Kirin Gang. They were all defeated quickly.

“Bastard! You’re dead meat! You killed Ray Reeds, and now you attacked the Grant family! From now on, you’re the public enemy of two families!

“There will be no safe place for you in Balerno!” Vlad shrieked with a horrified look. He was obviously a little flustered.

“Hmm?” Dustin glanced over and looked at Vlad as he walked slowly to him. “I almost forgot about you. What did you say earlier?”

“Don’t… don’t come near me!” Vlad panicked when he saw Dustin approaching. He yelled out meekly, “Let me warn you, my brother is General Lionheart, Tyler Grant. I have the backing of the whole Grant family. If you touch me, death will be your only way out!”

“Is that so?” Dustin snorted coldly as he suddenly reached out and held Vlad’s head before forcefully smashing it against the wall.

He hit the wall so hard that it left a small dent. Vlad’s mind went blank, and he was dizzy as blood trickled down the back of his head.

“I won’t kill you today. Go back and tell your brother, Tyler Grant, that he should stop playing tricks. If he insists on targeting the Harmon family, I will destroy the Grant family! Now, get lost!

Dustin lifted his hand, which was holding Vlad’s head, and flung him out. Vlad flew out like a ball and landed a few yards away outside A’roma. He crashed through a window before landing with a loud thud, and he howled in pain.

Lou and Sue were shocked to see what happened. They didn’t dare word and left A’roma hastily. say another

“Quick! We need to send Vlad to the hospital quickly!” Lou and Sue didn’t forget Vlad, who was seriously injured when they left. They immediately helped Vlad into the car and went straight to the hospital.

“Dustin Rhys, do you know you’re in deep trouble?” Dahlia suddenly spoke. She added, “You killed Ray Reeds and upset the martial arts alliance. You also challenged the Grant family. Are you really not afraid of death?”

“The feud already started the moment both parties got into a disagreement. Even if I didn’t kill Ray Reeds or teach Vlad Grant a lesson, they’d still come for me.” Dustin explained calmly.

Then, he continued, “If that’s the case, I might as well teach them a lesson they’d never forget. I want them to fear me, I want them to regret, I want them to steer clear of me.”

“That’s very naïve of you. Your actions will only worsen the misunderstanding and put you in danger.” Dahlia furrowed her brow slightly.

“I’ve already done it. There’s no use talking about it now. I’ve got nothing to lose. If they really want revenge, I wouldn’t mind if we all die together,” Dustin said indifferently.

“You-” Dahlia was a little annoyed. This man was very stubborn. He had no idea how serious the consequences would be. Even if he planned on dying together, he must have the ability to achieve that.

He only knew how to fight, and his connections were limited to a few thugs. With his current ability, how would he wage war with the martial arts alliance? How could he challenge the Grant family? Wasn’t this just like a moth flying to the flame?

“Dustin, some things are not as simple as they appear. If you don’t want to die, see me at the Nicolson Corp. tomorrow. I can save you,” Dahlia said sternly.

“Thanks for your offer, Ms. Nicholson, but it’s fine. I don’t like owing favors.” Dustin refused right away. He then turned to look at Natasha and Scarlet, “Come on, let’s else,” go somewhere “Alright.” Scarlet nodded obediently.

“We’ll be leaving now.” Natasha smiled and waved her hand. She turned around and held Dustin’s arm as they walked away. Dahlia was annoyed to see them quite friendly with each other.

“Dahlia dear, why do you care about that guy? Aren’t you just creating more problems for yourself?” Florence asked suspiciously.

“That’s right, Dahlia. He’s a stranger you barely knew. Why are you helping him?” Julie gave her a curious look.

“I have no idea. I feel like I owe him something.” Dahlia appeared lost in thought.

Florence and the others were shocked to hear that. They had put in too much time and effort to keep her in the dark about this. It’d be troublesome if Dahlia remembered something.

This must not be! They must stop Dahlia and Dustin from interacting with each other. If not, they’d have problems in the future!

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
