Then Audrey said, “By the way, Kathy, how are you so clever? You managed to find the hippo enclosure on your own. Did it take you a long time? This place is pretty hard to locate, isn’t it?”

Catherine didn’t want to let her down. Catherine instructed the keeper to guide the hippo into the water pool. It had sufficient depth to accommodate the entire hippo.
Once the hippo settled in the water pool, Catherine had someone measure the water level rise caused by the hippo’s presence. She calculated the volume of the risen water by subtracting the original water level from the elevated one.
